It was Dads birthday yesterday and he went and got a new computer, at last!! Hubby & I have been trying to tell him for ages that we were flogging a dead horse, glad he finally listened. :j
Needless to say he ain't letting his old one go. He is going to keep it because he doesn't like the new version of the music software he uses, cannot remember the name at the moment. He will keep the old computer specifically for his music in case when it is shadowed to the new computer that it does not work.0 -

If you read the first link, it really is a 2 minute job.
If you have an ethernet card, Plug it in with a wire, then
start, run, cmd
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
then follow the first postEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -

I went home after that, might be down @ Mum & Dads later today as my granny is not well now.0 -
When I copied Dads cubase from his old computer to his new one I got the following message,
Cubase.exe - Unable To Locate Component
This application has failed to start because MROSI032.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
Dad does not have the cds for this and that is why he wanted it copied across to his new computer. How can I get round this problem or can I?0
