I'd suggest anything with someone like Adam sandler in? Just because they are funny and the Rom coms are cute!
50 first dates is a fave of mine or the wedding singer. Or even happy Gilmore (I know it's golf related but I love it!)0 -

have to show my kids Pretty in Pink as we are all big Two and A Half Men fans and I wonder if they will recognise Jon Cryer as Duckie!
OMG, I love pretty in pink, have seen it loads of times but never made the connection to two and a half men! I knew I knew him from somewhere but couldn't get away from the fact that he reminds me of Matthew Broderick!0 -

Chalet Girl is a fun film which I really enjoyed watching (much to my surprise!). I don't remember any 'bad' bits in it but it was a while ago and I wasn't watching from a parent's perspective. Or what about Mean Girls?
I think 12yrs is a tricky age - some 12 certificate films are not really suitable for 12 yr olds (IMHO) but PGs might be too babyish.0 -

Haha...just thinking about my comments about age appropriateness and how much I sound like my Mother! I must be 'proper old' all of a sudden. Not sure how that happened but it's very scary!!! :eek:0 -

I told one of dds friends to take her coat off the other day. She said she was ok, and dd pops up with
' Oh take it off before she starts going on about appreciating it outside. I don't need to hear it again !':rotfl::rotfl0
