"why are u looking at christmas paper in july?" and, my personal favourite "we are NOT watching a christmas movie in october", however, i just casually mentioned a bargain pressie i had seen for eldest dd, and he asked me what i wanted for xmas, i reeled off the usual perfume, sexy undies, chocolates etc "oh and id love for us to do each other stockings", and to my suprise his response was "thats a lovely idea, what budget? shall i do u one of those xmas eve hampers you do me & kids too?", i thought he was taking the michael but he said i work so hard all year making xmas magical for him & kids, he really wants to do the same for me! i picked myself up off the floor in time to see him browsing the web for 'xmas stocking' and humming rudolph the red nosed reindeer! i darent tell him that his response tonight is the best xmas gift ever, i dont want my new santa husband to dissapear!
Haven't caught up yet as my Internet was down last night, but I have to say this just brought a tear to my eye! Obviously all your hard work has paid off and not been left unnoticed ::T0 -
pinknfluffy28 wrote: »im sure whsmith have got 2 for £5 on at moment, only what i was told by a friend tho so not 100% sure. Most places do a similar deal at some stage, and wilkos are usually cheaper in general for single annuals!
still catching up so not sure if anyone else has posted about annuals but sainsburys had loads, from toddlers to teenagers eg skylanders, hello kitty., peppa, bands etc, they were £4 each but again usually go on offer at some point0 -

I loved the goonies and the labyrinth, could probably still repeat the whole movie word for word! The princess bride is a good one too0 -
jHas anyone seen any nice toadstool decs? I've seen a few felt ones but am looking for red & white glass ones preferably. Absolutely love these ones from Cargo but don't love the price so much and am hoping to spot a cheaper alternative.
Homebase have some nice toadstool decs, 6 for £4.99, just type ''toadstool'' in the search box on the homebase website x0 -

thank you everyone for the well wishes. i am feeling better and the bleeding DOES seem to be calming down :T:T:T
the person who said about the cervical erosion (snugglebunny i think?!) they did check for this as apparently its the main reason for bleeding in pregnancy but found no sign of me having it.Snugglebunny8 wrote: »Has anyone seen or bought the Christmas tree biscuit tins in M&S? Ive seen it and thought it looked nice but for £10 I left it, but I see online it's actually musical?

Horah, finally caught up!
It was DS 4th birthday today, so been out on a family day, but did manage to get to primark very quickly and got DH the spiderman onside...we brought DS one for his birthday and whilst wrapping it DH made a comment about wishing they did it I his size...lucky he hate primark so didn't have a clue they do them! That's the kids pressie to daddy sorted! Also managed to get my hard to buy for brother a pair of teenage mutant ninja turtles 'lounge pants' so that's him finished now
Pear drop and black jack vodka started and doing well already, black jack ones smells just like black sambuca.
Only got my dad left to do and half of my sil to do.....very pleased as well, as I started so early this year haven't had to dip into our savings at all!
I do have to make my homemade hamper foodie items, but that can't be done till a week or so before, I've decided on the following for each couple who we don't buy for but they always get the kids bit and pieces..so technically we haven't brought anything..so they can't moan at me for getting them anything!
Pancake mix
Almond brittle
Nougat
Soap - honey and oatmeal
Candy sleigh
Strawberry jam-already made with 'gone' strawberries form my mums best friend who works at a strawberry farm
Marmalade-already made...cheated with the marmade tins, but so cheap and lush...I did pineapple and orange this year..just added a couple of tins of crushed pineapple...yummy
Just need to stop myself buying anything else I see, which won't be easy! But as long as I don't need to dip into the savings I've decided I'm going to get it!0 -
