Not macaroons but I made one of these last year.

    http://usa.stockfood.com/image-picture-Shortbread-Christmas-tree-with-silver-pearls-00441552.html

I bought a set of cutters from Lakeland but you could just make patterns from paper of varying sizes of stars and cut round them.

It was very simple but really effective dusted with icing sugar.

I LOVE this idea! Can i ask how long in advance you made it? Would love to make it for a boxing day party, but not sure how far in advance it could be done?

    Thank yoU!

OH Snugglebunny I have only just looked at the new one sorry. Mine is a round one with cut outs, sort of a double skinned one, the outer skin with the cut outs rotates. It is blue with snow and reindeers etc on it. I would take a pic but not sure how to get it on here Sorry :( a
  • carlamarie-How very worrying for you, o glad you and baby are ok. xx

Damzel_In_Distress-I really am glad its stayed away for so long, hope it stays away for good bless him! It does really affect your confidence, I should be used to people staring by now but it still hurts tbh. Its really bad on my face/head/neck right now so no chance of hiding it! I will get a pic up of the pyjamas later, totally forgot! x

    autumgirl-Ive seen toadstool baubles in B&M. :)

chirpychick-Glad you're ok. :) Tesco has adorable xmas babygro and hat outfits for £5, I saw a penguin one and it reminded me of you and Levans matching onesies. :D

These are my daughters Elizabeth Shaw Mints - they seem to be selling well!

Those are lovely, thanks for sharing

My daughter is in P1 and I go in and help out with the class once a week - I was thinking these could be nice as tree decs to make with the children closer to Christmas :T

    I've been Money Tipped!
Chris25 & moneysavingmumofone - thanks for the toadstool tips! Haven't been to a good garden centre in a while but will do soon. Will also check out the B&M ones. My local store didn't have them but I'm on a mission so I'll hunt them down!

It's fab having so many extra pairs of eyes, thank you :)
