A littel while some one posted a photo of a christmas bauble with a lovely verse/sentiment on it.
I would love one of these to give to my hubby (his father died on Boxing Day last year)
Any ideas where I can get one from?
Alternatively I was thinking about buying a bauble and using SAFMAT to put a verse on it myself. - Do you have any suggestions for the verse?
Sorry to be a pest - its just that I know Christmas will be hard for him this year.
Flyingpig and a few others in the Christmas Crafting Ideas by Flyingpig - Its Good to Share thread have made baubles, which could perhaps also be adapted for your purpose. See here:

The empty baubles can be bought from Hobbycraft in packs of 10.Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

pinknfluffy28... I do agree with what others have said but as your stepdaughter is 15 I assume you wont have to put up with this for much longer. You say you can afford it so I would be tempted to just buy her the tv and get extras for the others (more shopping yay!!) Is the mother just wanting you to be the bad guys? It might be worth spending abit more to avoid the agro?
She sounds very bitter (and abit mad actually after 10 years) maybe you could arrange for her to go get a check up from the neck up!

I agree with the wise advice already given, if I were in your position and it was do-able, I'd be tempted to say to OH that his ex promised he/you would do something without consulting you first, so now he will need to explain to her that she will just have to explain to her daughter that she was wrong to do so. Your SD sounds like a sensible and understanding sort of girl - so maybe you could suggest to your OH that he also talks to his daughter and explains gently that although something was promised on his and your behalf, you have both already put a lot of thought into her gifts and obviously her mum hadnt realised that? therefore you won't be dissing her mum so will make you both come out looking great and her mum getting what she deserves frankly! Would suspect that your SD would be a bit unhappy that something was promised from you without even consulting your first, as in anyone's book that is unfair.

You've said your parents & dh dad struggle with ideas, could you maybe give them some of the gifts you were going to give her to free up some money & put that towards the tv?0 -
