That is so cuteI've just had my first peppermint hot chocolate of this year while I was walking round town and it was really yummy
Bought something for my OH in Debenhams, mentioned it was a present and she said that they had started doing their gift receipts so I had until the end of Jan to exchange if I bought the wrong size.

Hi all have been a bit of a lurker on here for a few days.I started my christmas shopping a while back.i have 2 girls to buy for.last year we was saving for a wedding so family had to have less which was a bottle of wine and a tin of chocs.this year the boys will get smelly sets and the girls pj's.
I have got some of the girls christmas eve gifts which is there all in one pj's and dvd's shrek the halls and merry madagascar.
I love christmas its my fave time of the year and this will be our first one married
Baileys was on offer last week at morrisons at £12 a bottle for 1ltr so stocked up on that and my parents and nan always buy us our spirits and a tin of chocs each so we dont need to buy any of those which is a bonus.we have 2 elves who come to us every year aswell
We had our lounge re-decorated last year so im wanting to colour co-ordinate our tree this year much to hubby's annoyance so im on the look out for new stuff now.should have got it all in jan really ooops.does anyone else co-ordinate there tree?
I got all the cards and wrap in jan so i dont need to get them either.i usually shop the boots sale but with us saving for the wedding i had to leave that this yearso im definetly doing it this coming jan,its brill as i use them for b'day presents and some christmas presents

Can't remember who asked sorry
but Chatsworth is so gorgeous at Christmas.
My friend and I went last year for the first time, had afternoon tea as a Christmas present to each other, was so lovely with traditional carols playing.
The house is BEAUTIFUL. So lovely, won't spoil it with specifics but so worth going. We did the garden too, so lovely to walk round.

If you go then don't be daft like me and forget the camera! :xmastree:0 -
Asda have peppermint candy canes for £1 and coloured fizzy ones too (yellow/red/green I think, can't honestly remember exactly). You get 8 in a packet on the coloured fizzy ones, not so sure on the peppermint as they were out of stock.
I seem to remember people talking about Moshi Monsters? There are some metal pencil tins (with a zip around them) and marshmallows inside if it helps for anyone's hampers/stockings etc. £2 each and other designs are available. (ETA: Forgot to say - also Asda)
[STRIKE]I may have a Tinkerbelle one for my own reasons[/STRIKE]

chickywiggle-For the past few years OHs brother has said at the last minute to only buy for the kids so I usually buy something generic like toiletries so I can regift them if necessary! Although this year as his little present I have got him socks with his name on so hope we are buying for adults too this year haha.
his missus-A reading hamper sounds fab, I would love that! You can get some really cite clip on character reading lights, Asda has them sometimes. I would probably add a bookmark, some snacks, a mug and hot choc.
whitesatin-Asda quite often have the type of pyjamas you want, usually £7 and they're really nice and good quality.
pinknfluffy28-Could you save some of her pressies for her birthday? Try www.halfcost.co.uk for a tv, they very often have flatscreen tv/dvd combis for around £69.99 and you can use code FF15 (may be PF15) for 5% off.
vintagequeen72-I have a thing about Alan Davies too!
msgigglewick-The elf bag is sooo cute! Well done.
Bought a few things for shoeboxes yesterday (sharpeners, ruller, notepads) also got 3 smarties penguins (so cute and 3 for £1.20) and 4 little megabloks moshi monsters figures down to 50p each in Tesco. (2 for DS' stcoking and 2 for postpals or similar) The deadline to hand in shoeboxes is Nov 18th again which is fab as OH gets paid on the 16th and I can finish off the last few bits and pay postage!
Ive been sorting out my christmas cupboard today, Im definitely getting there with the stockings (I do 14 lol) I think the stockings are my favourite bit.:xmastree:

If you do look at getting one (sorry haven't caught up to the end yet) please do be careful incase she pulls the camera stunt again and gets her one too.
(what a bloody mare of a woman, awful thing to do to her kids)
