hi guys, thanks for letting me know i wasnt the only one. i think they oversold the voucher and a few of us are paying the price. customer service is an absolute joke. i wish i paid through paypal now !!! i know its only £5 but it makes me sick that companies get away with things like this. i would imagine their reputation has been severely tarnished following the tesco promotion. everywhere i go im reading bad reviews of the company. it wont be around much longer anyway....they will never meet the standards of groupon and livingsocial etc

not really thought about doing anything at the moment. im still shocked they haven't got in touch with each and every customer. lets face it, none of us will get refunded and if we do its months away.

if anyone gets any updates from them apart from an automated reply let us know. im going to put a post on trustpilot later regarding them. i know alot of people pay attention to that site. i almost always check trustpilot

See the other thread running on Tesco deal people are no longer trusting trustpilot as they are removing the bad reviews.

really ?? now thats shocked me. surely they cant do that !! looks like i have lost my money anyway as they wont respond. im going to do my best to tarnish their already bad name though.

they gave me a £5 goodwill gesture. i took one look at the site and first thing i thought was its tacky crap. you can pick majority of it up half the price elsewhere

Just scroll down through the Mightydeals feedback on Trustpilot. There are many bad reviews which were 1 star which have been removed "for review by the compliance team". Basically Mightydeals complains about these reviews to Trustpilot, who remove them for review by their team - who will then either delete them or reinstate them.

But if you go far back in the reviews, there are reviews from a month ago that are still "being reviewed". I doubt that will change.

So all those bad reviews will not affect their score. Despite many bad reviews making it through ( they don't seem to have removed any over the weekend - Mightydeals staff must be down the pub having a bank holiday bender with all the spare £5's from the Tesco fiasco) the score for Mightydeals has only dropped from 7.1 to 6.9.

There are also a load of 5 star reviews appearing that are EXTREMELY suspicious - very few words. Just saying "excellent" or "great choice".

So I would say do not rely on Trustpilot for an honest and accurate feedback on a company. (Don't forget that the companies pay Trustpilot to use their services)

Mighty deals rep

I'm waiting on 3 x £5 refunds from the Tesco £10 offer.
I didn't realise it was 2 per household and purchased us one each.
Got emails on 12th May stating refund had been issuesd as I had broken terms of offer. Allow 5-7 days for refund to clear.
No sign of refund. Will need to contact my card provider if I don't receive.
Thankyou for your help with this matter.

Card provider contacted so hopefully they will sort out what happened to the 3 refunds.
