    Hi,

I recently had 2 seperate offences in a carpark with parking eye cameras. Now I'm worried that if they have more than one with the same vehicle will they decide to try and make an example out of me my following up on what they say and taking me through the courts?

    Many thanks,

    Sam

    1. They are NOT OFFENCES. You have broken no laws.
    2. Have you written back or contacted them with your name and address? If you haven't, then don't. That way, even upon the chance in 10,000 that they might want to try a court again after their last venture ended in disaster, they won't know who was driving anyway.
    3. Even if you have (naughty naughty) everything they tell you is lies, designed to frighten you into paying them money they aren't entitled to and cannot enforce. That's why their only option is... to tell you porkies.

Just stop taking a bunch of clowns seriously. I have accumulated over 80 fake charges, and nothing's happened. And you are worrying about TWO???

Just totally ignore them.... like spoilt children, all they seek is attention, don't give it to them.

"Two" I have had about 10 as the keeper from Parking Spy even offered them out :p they did not take me up on the offer!

Out = go away or issue proceedings!:)
  • I havent contacted them at all. So they have actually been to court? what was the outcome? Did they try to get one of the tickets receivers to pay?

Interesting case. We all laughed very loudly about it. Guy failed to buy a pay and display ticket on two occasions. He did admit it, and that he was driving, otherwise they couldn't have taken him to court.

Defended by a guy on this forum. Parking Eye, meantime, tried claiming about £400 off him, and employed four (count 'em!) solicitors from a local firm to present the case. (Heard in Manchester).

Outcome, the judge told the guy to pay up the £15 he ought to have paid for the parking. No problem with that. Chucked out the claim for the £400 as it was unenforceable in law because they are not allowed to impose penalties or fines.

Then P.E. asked for their solicitors costs which were £4,400. Judge told them they could spin on it, though I think he used proper legal language.

Their first try, and it will be their last as they not only lost £4,400 on it but were also told where they could stick their "fines".

That's why they won't be doing anything to you. Still less if they don't know who was driving.

Be careful. If they decide to pursue, then you will liable for late payment charges, baliff fees and court costs.

Ignore that advice. Clearly from someone who doesn't know what he is talkumg about.

    Just keep ignoring

One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

Im not sure anyone really cares. Ive read one post of yours and straight away I knew you would be someone who works for a PPC.

You deserve everything you get. You and your ilk are just parasites.
