Animal Aid's annual Christmas Fayre will be on Sunday 4th December 2011 at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London, W8 from 10am until 5pm.
    Entry £2, under 11s free

There will be more than 95 stands promoting ethical living and cruelty-free products – representing campaigning groups, animal sanctuaries, ethical companies and food outlets. Everything on sale will, of course, be vegan and non-animal tested, so it’s the ideal venue to stock up on all your Christmas gifts and have an informative and fun day out at the same time.

Awesome. I love that! I even had one poopie coworker rave about some chocolate ones I made, before she knew they were my (vegan) creation. Ha!

    What's a 'poopie coworker'?

  • Hi all! I've been vegetarian for about a month. I am working on becoming fully vegan but I still have to work through the remainder of the veggie food I bought without realising it contained egg or milk powder!!

I find it DEFINITELY saves money because I no longer have to buy expensive meat, and can no longer have the majority of overpriced snack foods. It also conveniently means no more pizza delivery!

People around me have reacted encouragingly but they usually follow up with "I can't live without bacon/roast dinner/cheese" etc... which is fine

What's your experience of 'coming out' as vegetarian/vegan?

Love that chart, I've had every one of those said to me at least 10 times in the past 30 years!
