How many vegans on board?

It's great to have such a popular forum with so many vegans yay!!!
I'm a committed veggie (40 out of my 44 years) with a strong leaning towards vegan. I travel lots with work and need to eat on the move so although I choose the vegan(est) option I have to be pragmatic. It's frustrating thaat round my way (lincoln) there are so few places to eat out with a decent selection of wholefood veg(atari)an options. Anyone know any please let me know!
I navigate by the happycow website and even have the app on my phone, it's great for finding the best places to eat! You're either Witham or against'em0 -
HappyCow is great! There's a site called VeggieHeaven too, but I think it's a bit hit and miss. Lots of prepared food cases have saved husband and I when traveling...Boots sandwiches, Sainsbury pasta, etc.
How cool to have been veggie as a child...were you parents both vegetarians as well?Pick battles big enough to matter, small enough to win. - Jonathan Kozol0 -

savvy, do you know the name of the app? Mostly we try and eat stuff that we recognize, but sometimes we are eating on the fly, or just want something slightly junky
<<drools thinking about Fry's and cupcakes. Do you put the chocolate in the batter?
Welcome Dellia!
And yeah, we're off to VegFest on Saturday. We missed last year, but have enjoyed it before, especially if the weather is nice! Are you going?Pick battles big enough to matter, small enough to win. - Jonathan Kozol0 -
Yep it's called What Additives
Yes I out half the batter in then dropped in a chunk of Fry's then covered with more batter..........sooo good! Could show you a pic in construction stage if idiots hadn't messed the thread up

Hi All
I hope everyone is well.
I haven't looked at the thread in a while so just trying to catch up.
I wondered if anyone in the London area went to the London Vegan Potluck 2 on wednesday
in Brixton.
This is a monthly event now ( first wednesay of every month)
I 'm not sure i've ever eaten so much fabulous vegan food before.
The next one is on July 6th if any London vegans want to attend.
In the meantime here are some reviews/pictures of wednesdays event.
First review is from Sean (the London Vegan 2 Potluck organiser)
