The reply to that one is ' Why did he create Vegans then?'

im kind of in 2 minds and confused at the moment. and in need of advice i think.
i feel i shouldnt have given up being vegan despite the struggle plus am drawn to being vegan again. trouble is i dont know where/how to start although have been looking on vegan website as well as in 2 minds despite feeling bad/guilty for eating animals.
still drinking soya milk and using soya butter? but it the rest of it unsure about. am wondering how any other vegans managed/started?
    appreaciate advice?

I'm of the opinion no one can force you or talk you into becoming a vegan. I was a Vegetarian for 15 years then a Vegan for 5 years the I went back to eating certain locally sourced meats. I then became a Vegan again after watching 'Earthlings' . My wife is also Vegan which makes things easier. You really need to read around the subject and make your own decision as if you don't come to the decision under your own motivation you will never stick to it. It is a lot easier to be a Vegan now than when I was first one in the early 90s as Vegan products are easily available as is information.

I must admit one of the things that always makes me think my decision was correct is when I look on the ingredients list of an item and find some really pointless animal product that there is no need for.

thanks for letting me 'on board'. and thank you so much to everyone for your advice and support,
it the other way round, mainly someone i work with frequently saying 'gotta eat meat, dont know what your missing out on', plus family with what said and done.
i must admit ive had a wobble, eaten meat and gone back to being a strict lacto ovo vegatarian. i felt not only ill and upset plus cross and angry at myself from eating meat, plus from the fact i gave in to something (and doing something i gave up for good reason)i feel im not, so easily.
once bitten twice shy i guess, athough ive got to stand firm to my beliefs. plus when i 'realised' what id done, rectified the situation then made it clear im vegetarian interested in veganism.

We were informed, by the self-appointed Moderator of this thread, that the sole purpose was to discuss tips for vegans and not for a general discussion of the merits/demerits of the lifestyle; apparently there are other threads where such discussions are permitted. On those grounds a number of posts were deleted – naturally those posts viewing veganism in an unfavourable light.

Perhaps rather than promoting a lifestyle, seen by many as unhealthy and indeed dangerous, you should join those threads.

I only glanced at this thread because it appears in the list of "Green & Ethical MoneySaving" topics.

Can't say that I noticed any posts dealing with MoneySaving tips so unlkely to bother looking again.
