Don't forget that the Bristol VegFest is on this weekend where you can pick up loads of show discounts on a huge range of vegan products
and it's free to get in!! :j:j
There's also a Leicester vegan fayre coming up in August.

FWIW, there are many threads here on MSE that aren't too much about saving money, but aren't in the pub. I used to participate in a pregnancy thread (which still lives), for instance. We talked about ultrasounds and sore feet, etc. but very little money saving. At least that will stop it looking as though something new and important has been added !
It wasn't a flippant comment ! I looked only at what was then the last page and couldn't see a single posting that might save anybody any money; it may well be that the last couple of dozen postings were all 'Off Topic' but I saw no point in wading through the whole thread just in case there were some relevant ones. If the thread is going to continue to ignore money saving techniques, perhaps moving it to another area would be more appropriate ?Pick battles big enough to matter, small enough to win. - Jonathan Kozol0 -
I'm also long-term vegan, and before that (and obviously still) longer-term vegetarian.
KEEP UP THE VEGANISM!0 -
Tescos now do vegan cheese (mild and medium), vegan yoghurts, vegan chocolate milkshake type dessert, lots more different types of alt milks. Vegan creme caramel, etc. About damn time. I have some of the cheese in the fridge, not tried it yet though. I've been put off the caramel thing because I happened to puke it up since something else made me sick. It was nice though. And I really like the chocolate dessert drink thingies. You'll find all these in the refridgerated milk section.0

Odd, I would've thought the bigger ones did at least. I know the small ones don't. Tesco also do a homous and carrot pickle (I can't remember full name) sandwich which is vegan. About damn time.0

Hello!!! I so want to get back to veganism. I am vegetarian at the moment, have been for 3 years. So much more ethical, green and money saving!!! Vegan food is SO cheap as long as you don't buy too many 'fake' foods. It is the most sustainable way to eat.
Also I am suffering from bad skin at the moment and I am sure ditching the dairy would help. I certainly had better skin during the four short months that I was a vegan. Anyway I'll be subscribing and following with interest.Debt 1 - Loan £10K (minimum payment £145)
