I'm also trying to be vegan. Recently decided to do that. Somebody knows what are the supplements needed to replace a meat, such as vitamins maybe. Are there only food additives I need to take, maybe specific food?

    Thanks!

  • WOW this thread makes some interesting reading.

In the New Year I am going to follow the overcoming Multiple Sclerosis diet, it's vegan but fish is allowed but its also very low Sat Fat.

I am on a budget as I am unable to work, I have 2 boys and a hubbie to feed as well, they will continue to eat meat but much less of it.

Your comments have made me confident that I will be able to follow the diet

I'm not saying this to have a pop at you or anything but you can't call it vegan then.

I know it's not vegan, but what I will be eating apart from the fish will be vegan. Although vegan cheese and other dairy free fats are not allowed. I am doing it in the hope that some of my symptons will ease and will allow me not to have to take as many Meds.

I am new to all this and found the thread helpful

Agreed! But I'd call it uniformed rather than stupid.

You will fall foul of the Moderators. Several posts were removed from this thread when the pros and cons of veganism were discussed.

This thread was specifically intended for information on where to get wonderful nut roasts etc
