Having a look on the kindle store and saw these free book, any of them any good?

    one

    two

I've downloaded them, but wondered if others had used them
  • I'm vegan, have been since 1994 (was veggie 4 years previous).

Us vegans get ripped off easily, so it's important to shop around. I've said it before and will say it again, Give Martin Lewis a knighthood !!

As regards food, I try and get most things from supermarkets - I know it's more ethical to support independent health shops but unfortunately in my area it involves extra travel, so that's my excuse !

Clothes isn't a great problem, except shoes & belts which I have to get by mail order.

I also belong to these animal welfare/vegan organisations :

    The Vegan Society
    Animal Aid
    PeTA
    VIVA !
    Animal Protection Agency (APA)
    RSPCA

I also donate to several other animal charities and have an adopted horse at the Hillside Animal Sanctuary

I haven't seen either of those kacie, but have used a LOT of vegan raw books (fave is Ani Phyo) and Isa Chandra books. Then off the net Chloe Coscarelli is amazing :D

I have put together a blog post on xmas mince pies and puddings.

    http://theveganwomble.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/christmas-pies-and-puddings.html

I also have a follow up post on boxes of chocolates and currently getting together my next posts of desserts in supermarkets. Please feel free to contribute to these posts as I want them to contain as many products and photos as possible. The Vegan Womble is also on facebook if anyone is interested.

Great work Murrell, would have been very useful, but this year not only did a big husky arrive for Christmas, so did my redundancy so we had to cut back once again for the festive period......and I made everything - including a cake which the new doggy licked half of, so we ended up with a crescent shaped cake :o

    Welcome savagelyric, love the name!

Here's a very interesting article about soy based products for our vegan friends.
