refund from myloan.co.uk??

Hello I've done this too!!
I entered my details on a different website and this company took almost £70.
How do I word the letter and what details should I provide??
It's my fault but I know I deserve most of money back as they never helped me and I never directly used there website.
Any suggestions with the letter would be appreciated.
Follow the instructions, say you want a refund, and then, no phone calls, emails etc.,, just letter, stamp, post.
You should get it back, less a fiver, although it can take a while.
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -
Hello all
Ive had the same thing happen to me. however i know without a doubt i did not use myloan-now or myquid. I did however sign up to mrlender and to paydayexpress. again i did not accept any loans or tick any agreement boxs for details to be passed on. i called the number on the myloan-now website and like everybody else didnt think id get through to human however after 36 minutes of holding i did get to speak to somebody id say a customer service agent if he was actually interested in customer service. he told me it was physically impossible that I didn't sign up for their service. so as the username suggests i dont like to give up. so i questioned further how he could be so sure. he advised me they retain the ip address of the computer used to complete the loan application, so i asked him to confirm the time and the location and the ISP of said ip address. which he did and all 3 where contrary to my location my ISP at home and at work and the time i would have been there when i told him this he said well its not fraud because you just told me it came out of your bank and you where looking for a loan. he offered me a 50% refund and threatened to cut me off if i didn't make a decision as he had other calls waiting. i asked for a manager and was refused the opportunity to talk to one. so i hit the forums looking for an answer and by the looks of things their are varying levels of success with refunds but i can tell you 100% after checking my internet history and emailed replies from payday firms i did not sign up to myloan now or myquid. so i'm miffed i called my bank with little to no help from them and the fraud team just told me to get in touch with the FCA i have emailed myquid but dont expect much from that so again my brain was buzzing at how they could get away with this. so i turned my sales head on and thought well if they are selling they have to be buying and if they are buying supplier need to get in touch with them. so to searching again the parent company is katsea financial services ltd as mentioned but they have moved from their ipswich location apparently according to the site secretary anyway. so no such luck there but katsea's only director is a MR Peter Tuvey who is a director of 6 companies which have further sub companies such as myloan-now who indeed resides in ipswich one of the said companies is fleximize another lending company but for businesses i spoke to the receptionist there who told me {Removed by Forum Team} was out of the office at the moment but if i had his email address i could send him an email. so just to make sure i asked if {Removed by Forum Team} @ fleximize . com was spelt right to ensure he got my previous emails she confirmed it was so i dropped him an email and am currently awaiting a response will update once i get a reply.
also {Removed by Forum Team} can be located on linked in i haven't contacted him through the site and suggest people dont as you may get blocked by linked in. :cool:0 -

You need to write to them asking for a refund, no point in posting that on here as if we can get you your refund.0 -

My boyfriend (to my chagrin) has signed up to this company (Katsea Financial Services), been stung for a "Membership" which has emptied his bank account, yet when he phoned he was told:
During the conversation he was offered a "Goodwill Gesture" of 50% of the money taken off his account, then he can't get any refund, then he was offered it again. A "one-time only" gesture, apparently.
The man talking to him wouldn't give him his full name but kept saying "I'm the only 'Rich' in this office, in Tesco if you asked you would only know their first name on their badge". What nonsense! What does he have to hide, then?
Seems a bit dodgy, a pseudonym perhaps? They are apparently NOT a "loan company" but offer a service. What the service actually is, the man never elaborated.
Boyf's bank told him last night he could recover the full "Membership" amount: they are very aware of these companies and seemed (reading between the lines) quite dismayed he'd chosen this option.
I am annoyed at boyf throwing his bank details at a website without doing his homework but it's shocking that the company won't even take responsibility.0 -

Go to the website, find their refund procedures, and follow it. If that doesn't work, then contact the Ombudsman."Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... [it] doesn't walk in saying, "our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."0 -
What responsibility do you want them to take? They exist solely to get money from people who can't be bothered to read what they sign up for.

I am just as miffed with boyf as you seem to be, but the fact is, people make mistakes and these companies are taking advantage of people in desperate situations, maybe even those who don't have the cautious natures or forethought that many of us wiser souls, do.
I have read through this thread for the last hour (I am not too lazy to read and research, though my boyf with his impulsiveness and his health issues doesn't have the patience, though it's very easy for people to judge if they're not walking in those shoes).
I'm back on this thread to say, as mentioned earlier in this thread, phone The Financial Ombudsman on 0300 123 9 123 they really helped and he's feeling more positive now.
As this is "Moneysavingexpert".com I would like to think a bit of understanding for people with financial issues isn't too much to ask.0 -
