Sorry my friend, but even I with my huge amounts of patience found your post extremely frustrating!

Have you taken the time to READ THIS THREAD or the myriad of others that relate to EXACTLY the same subject???

DO NOT try to contact the "charlantans" at the head office, this will get you nowhere. These people do not have a head office, they operate out of boiler rooms. They probably don't even operate out of boiler rooms, actually. They probably operate out of a bedsit somewhere.

They purport to have sales teams and account managers but this is just to make themselves sound flash and legit. They have no such thing.

Ranting and raving at them just provides them with something to have a good laugh at that and will be water off of a ducks back to them as I am sure you can well imagine that they get this type of thing all day, every day.

No amount of personal insults or telling them about your own unique personal situation will not make one iota of difference to how or when you will receive your refund. Just write a short letter requesting your refund. I say request and not demand as I am pretty sure that the more grief that you give them the longer that you will be waiting. In fact, from some of the replies that I have read on here, the people that seem to write short, polite requests for refunds seem to have the highest success rate.

So, stop your personal vendetta against the dodgy loan brokers and just request a refund in writing through the post, using the recorded delivery service that Royal Mail provide. Do not bother arguing with other posters here on the board saying that e-mail is also "in writing" as we are not the ones that make the rules. There is only one way to do it, and it has been outlined many, many times before here on the board.

Here, I have posted a snippet of one of my previous posts to help you out:

    :money:
I will outline here what steps you should take to claim your refund and secure your bank account.

Go to the website of the brokerage that you signed up at with your card details and read their Terms and Conditions and take note of the refund and cancellation procedure. In many cases this will involve writing a letter on paper and sending it recorded delivery by old fashioned snail mail. Sending it recorded delivery is important as it is common practice for such entities to deny having received your letter so that they can hold onto your money for longer. This way you can prove that it was delivered with the added bonus that you will also know who signed for the receipt of the letter.

When you write your letter, simply ask to claim your refund and do not include any personal horror stories or abusiveness etc as this will just provide them with something to laugh about around the coffee machine and is surplus to requirements.

Also, remember, there is no alternative to writing this letter. If you want a refund it is the only way to do it. They do things this way as they know a lot of people simply will not bother to do so and just give up leaving them to keep your money. I would suggest that if you really feel as though you have been had then you should stop at nothing to write and send this letter as they rely on people not sending their letter as this way they can keep your money. This is because having provided your card details etc you have unfortunately bound yourself to their Terms and Conditions so you must continue to follow them to get your refund.

  • Lol everyone's like "ermahgerd didn't you read all my wonderful posts telling you to write in and not email them?!?! How could you!!"

Some of these posters are hoping for faster routes to their money back, were probably desperate for cash in the first place before this happened to them, hence their attempts to find a way round the slow letter posting solution.

There may be no other way than writing them a letter, but there's no need to be pedantic and sarcastic at their hopes for another solution.

Follow the instructions posted earlier in this thread and you should get your money back, possibly less £5.

Hi, I had £67.88 taken from myloansnow today. I did not even go on their website and enter my card details. It was on another website where I entered them. I did not press to submit it, got cold feet, looked at their terms and conditions, thought it was a scam and closed the browser down. It said something along the lines of "don't worry we will take this amount in 62 days".
I woke up at 4 am with a bad feeling and for some reason decided to check my balance. The fraud team at my bank has been trying to arrange a 3 way call all day and cannot get through.

I am 100% certain I did not submit the form. I entered the details, got cold feet and closed the page down. Once the card details have been entered it will submit. It isn't like Tescos, Waitrose etc where you put your details in and you have a big button to press to send. They set it up that the big button does naff all and the real submission is the code that loops round checking whether all details are populated. Then match it up with details that you entered on another site.

So anyway, sending off my recorded delivery letter now and notifying trading standards, the FCA and anyone else I can find who is vaguely interested.

    I live and learn.

Did you send your letter to myloan.co.uk or the other website that you used?
