Nope. I just thought it would be a safe thing to do, to avoid lots of money leaving my account?
The really safe thing to do would be to close your bank account, change your name and emigrate - but just like cancelling your cards that would be overkill.
As I said before, if by some miracle money is taken from your account, you ring the bank and speak to the fraud department. They have to refund the money as soon as you tell them it is a fraudulent transaction. Far less inconvenience than being stuck without a quick means of getting cash for days on end while you wait for the new card to turn up.0 -
Lol.
That sounds a good idea.
thanks for all your help.0 -
Am I close??????
Probably, but if he's looking for a loan, how will he afford the £20k legal costs?
Unless he is currently on the phone to Amigo and mummy and daddy will be acting as guarantors? If you're going to waste £20,000 on a fruitless crusade then you're either a troll or an idiot.
I'd be tempted to go for to latter - seems to stupid to be a troll, although the trolling quality has gone downhill these days.0 -
Looks like the poster who posted the comment and making his life hell has had that post removed.0

I very much doubt if they have been renting from Netflix using your partner's details.
It's probably from another site where she has banged in her card details, for some promise of a free trial or other.0 -
The moral of the story is "Don't put your details on line".
They don't require them so that they can transfer a loan to your account, they require them so they can transfer your money to themselves.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
I have just been researching this and if you register on your mobile there is no I formation on the first page stating that of you enter your card details they will be used for a transaction fee. They ask for card details
Under the guise of which account do you want you want you're money to be paid into. Very bad company making a quick buck on people who are struggling financially.0 -
