Thanks nice to talk it out. Do you know though, not sure I wouldn't have been fooled. I have scoured the terms and conditions and the guy that runs this, reported to be Australian Playboy, Gregory Cox, has an MO as long as your arm. Many bloggers have said they all thought they had been offered a loan. One eagle eyed applicant noticed a switch to a different window and cancelled application - was still charged for nothing. Nothing in the terms and conditions to indicate others can take fees at will and without notification (who would agree if they read it). Offer a, 3 month no loan, return on admin. fee of £69.99 after six month period for processing. Likely to be out of business by then as many of connected sites appear to be folding now. Website 'can you trust them' offer a service to help people get their money back with league table of rogues. What a wonderful world!!
PS so glad you are better after having a bout of the conservatives.0 -
Regardless of how they tell you or if they even tell you, this should not be legal. It is too open to abuse as has been seen here.
Here's a question.
Has anybody ever had a loan paid out that they obtained through this company?0 -
Hi people.
I have been very stupid and signed up with myloan. today.
I had a suspicion they were dodgy when I signed up and got to the homepage. Anyway its my mistake and I have to deal with it.
I signed up about an hour ago. What is the best thing to do now, to avoid the worst outcome?
thanks0 -

Yet you still blindly handed over your card details - you do appear to have picked an apt usernameI signed up about an hour ago. What is the best thing to do now, to avoid the worst outcome?

Perhaps read the entire thread and it might give you an idea of how to get out of the situation (hint - ignore the muppets saying cancel your card) by cancelling your contract with the company.0 -
Thanks. I know my username is something I deserve. So is it correct I have 14 days to cancel my contract to avoid the 69.99 charge?
And how do you suggest I contact them phone or email. I just sent a message through their website but I am not sure I trust it.0 -

The T&Cs of most websites of this kind tell you to write to a specific address (that means a proper letter not an email), so I would imagine that will be the case here - but read the T&Cs to be certain. Send it with proof of postage just in case.
If you follow their instructions then they should refund you.0 -

It includes bits of paper, big red cylinders with slots in the top and uniformed workers with cats0 -
These bottom feeders nearly always expect you to write and cancel the card - old fashioned snail mail. The T & C's on their website will probably tell you to do this, but check.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

There you go then ,you now know what to do - although I'd be tempted to go for the post method as you can prove that you have cancelled.0
