Not heard anything at all, not from the police or gumtree.

I'm currently dealing with solicitors to see if there is any other route i could take.

Also i contacted the BBC, The Sun and Sky News with regard to giving this more exposure to try help and catch the people involved but i've had no luck with this either.

i have fallen for this story and payed 7300 to ukautobrokers who i thought gumtree recommended. The police are investigating it and i am waiting outcome. I have reported to gumtree and the car is still up as only 9 days for sale and oringal was about 21. ford focus zetec s waltham cross london, do not touch it. i just pray i will somehow get my money back, he is still in touch with me saying he will bring car this wednesday, hes not the registered keeper the police have confirmed this.

I must be doing something wrong, trying to sell my ACTUAL BMW 320 at the moment, its a real car, and I really will hand over the keys once a new owner meets me at my house, hands over real money and they drive away a real car.

Lots of pretend cars selling very quickly recently.

I have e mailed barclays they said they will investigate. Ive also e mailed watchdog so if you and everyone else does the same they may run the story. Finally gumtree have taken the car off, but thats not going to stop him for long. Im begining to wonder if its an employee of barclays with it being the leicester branches all the time

Hi, I have been looking on Gumtree for a car and run into the guy your all talking about, same emails etc.
He was going under the name:
Adam Michalski / micha75uk live.com

He was asking me to use this website for the money:
autosnetpay.co.uk

I'm still in contact with him at the moment, just trying to get some more info from him.

I just saw your post Mark147, it seems the same guy is trying to sell the the car to me too and asking me to pay in to autosnetpay. He says he is in Belfast now and was in Richmond?
I can not see the company if I google it, additionally following the link he gave me, I found spelling mistake which has made me worried. It's a uk company supposedly, but spells cheque as check?
He said to deposit the money and he will come this week?
