I reported several adverts to autotrader last night and they are gone already.

Wonder why their system doesnt detect a private seller listing half a dozen cars?
Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...

  • can you post up the sort code please for barclays as we are gathering evidence and preparing to take them to court. does the sort code happen to be 20 92 63 by any chance
  • we lost over £7000 can you let me have the bank sort code please where the money was paid into
  • Has anyone heard of/used Auto-Buyer.co.uk? They have offered very close to my asking price after seeing my advert on Auto Trader. Surprise, surprise, they want an upfront, refundable £50 'appointment fee'. Too good to be true, or am I being cynical...??

  • The bank in question regarding my fraud was

    Barclays 20 92 63

Eventually got a reply after two letters informing me that "under current money laundering legislation the bank has to operate a
"stringent customer identification and verification process" "
However they cannot be responsible for "any fraudulent forms of identification that a customer submits if it appears genuine"

This branch is the common denomiator in all these cases yet Barclays continue to take no action.
  • barclays need to do something!!!! surely we must be protected somehow!
  • has n e one had any luck getting there money back??
