Hey BC, yes it's lovely to see the sun shining isn't it?! Even if we did miss out on a lot of it by being in the cinema and p1zza hut! £70 spent today :eek::eek:. And the little bugg£rs didn't eat much of it!! They all enjoyed the film though and DS1 had a fab day so I suppose that's what matters. I'm absolutely wrecked now so looking forward to an evening of vegging on the sofa watching strictly and the x factor. Xx

• Just caught upon a few pages. So glad to read nice happy posts from you. I hope it all continues. You're a bit like me on the debt front in that it's a period of plodding along and we'll get there eventually :)
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00
• Hi MiT, yes it certainly feels like the 'long haul' part of the debt busting now. It's neither the first flush of excitement or nearing the end of paying it all off, however I've just done a quick calculation and we've paid off 26.64% since LBM/accident date. I'm really quite pleased with that, but the 73.36% to go is a bit annoying to see the least. A lot of the easy or quick fixes have been and gone like PPI reclaims etc so it's going to get harder to pay the remainder off. Think I may have just refocused myself into getting it paid off as quick as possible, so need to come up with a plan of action! Paying it off at 1% per month will take 6 years  so we need to aim for at least 2% or more which will still be 3 years. Not an easy task.

To start me off though, I sold 5 items on eb@y last night which should net me around £20 after fees etc. I will update this after I've posted them tomorrow and I know exactly how much is left.

• I know what you mean. I have spent hours e-baying for pennies in return and also hours and hours doing the most boring surveys ever but now I just can't be bothered so I will plod on and it'll take however long it takes. I think I am at 5 years  hey ho

• Well ebay sales netted me a massive £13.43 after postage and fees :rotfl:. It all helps though. I'm still waiting for another buyer to pay but that will only be another £3 or so profit. Mind you, they were all items donated for me to sell so it's money for next to nothing.

I also got £15 cash back paid into the bank account yesterday for when I switched utilities a few months ago, and my Mum has given me some bags of old clothes etc to weigh in so I feel like things are sort of moving in the right direction.

Best news though is that DH has been put on a 12 month review after his last medical so we wont be chased for another year. This takes the pressure off immensely.

I'm off to work at Mr A's for a few hours and then I've got the dreaded weigh in tonight. It won't be pretty after the double birthday week .

• We were asked to walk MIL's dog today as she was out for most of the day, so in true 'don't do things by halves' PLMBL style, we took him for a 6.5 mile trek. smiley-chores002.gif
DS2 was not impressed that we took the pushchair but boy was he glad of it half way round :rotfl:. We walked all the country lanes to get to a nature reserve and park, and it would have been a NSD but there is a shop near the park so I was conned out of 92p for chocolate for DS2. It was a lovely day but I have a problem with my feet called plantar fascitis which flares up now and again and I'm paying for it now :(.

The buyer I've been waiting for to pay on ebay did so last night, so the last item was sent today, gaining me about £2.50. Unfortunately on our walk today the pushchair got an unrepairable puncture so I've had to buy a new inner tube on ebay for £5.99 including delivery. It's annoying as DS2 hardly uses it anymore and it's not in good enough condition for the new baby, but it's needed for days like today.
