PLMBL can you explain to me how you get all the animations? I saw you and granny chatting about it and am too lazy to trawl back through!
I know so exciting, but lots of hurdles along the way which could bring it to a halt, so trying to keep my feet on the ground, but it's so hard!
Hi DNM, I google the subject I want, eg animated happy smiley and then having found a suitable smiley,
right click your mouse and
select "copy image url"
In a message press ctrl v and it'll put the relevant link in for you.
To finish it off, put img inside [] at the start of the link and /img inside [] at the end to ensure the picture shows instead of just the link.
If you see a smiley in someone else's post that you like, again right click on the image and follow the above instructions.
Hope this makes sense x
PLMBL may explain it differently. Granny xTargets

I use a website called www. free smileys.org (without the spaces!). I usually have 2 tabs open MSE and that one and I just right click on the icon I want on the smiley page and then press copy, before heading back over to my MSE tab and right clicking then 'paste'. I'm sure there is a more technical way but it works for me!!
I realise I forgot to answer your question earlier re my bathroom. Not much further forward than the last time I mentioned it after DH wasn't well on friday and then we've had a busy family weekend. Hopefully we will get moving again with it in the next few days.
Had a nice meal today and it only cost us £5 as everyone else put in for us! I love my family.
I've been wondering today if it would be worth trying to get a job with enough hours to take us back out of income related ESA. I would then not be restricted as to how much I could earn, but it would mean MIL 'looking after' DH more. I half discussed this with her today but I think I need to have a more indepth discussion with her. My head hurts from thinking!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hello Be Lucky
(Hope you don't mind, but I think << this nickname is better, and certainly rolls off the tongue / into the keypad easier than "PLMBL"
). The ether swallowed my first reply  so here goes with a 2nd attempt..

It's people like yourself, 3Dogs and Kavics that make me feel bad for whinging. You all have real problems and I know I'm very lucky to still have DH. I very much appreciate your support and please know you have mine in return.
Bless you; you're not 'whinging'! It's incredibly stressful when someone you love has a serious long-term health problem; never under-estimate the effect of that on you, your OH and your children.
I've been a member of that club since DS3 was born - spent over two years in hospital with him then fell in and out over the next decade. ..Which is why I know how important it is for the main carer to be on the ball (DS3 would not have survived if I'd been passive about his treatment - his doctors have told me that on many occasions).please-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »No offence taken whatsoever. I understand what you are saying and yes I need to chase things up. When we saw the consultant on Tuesday he said that we'd have an appointment for the MRI within 4 weeks, but perhaps after yesterday we should push to have it quicker. All DH's episodes are after sleep and I can't confirm if he had any type of fit in his sleep as I was with the children downstairs while he napped upstairs. I hadn't noticed the chewing before so I assume it hadn't happened before, however I hadn't been looking for those types of signs before either so it's a possibility.
He seems better today again phew!
My bold. If it takes as long as four weeks to get the appointment through, how much longer will it be before the actual date?
I'm glad to hear your DH has apparently recovered from his latest episode - but if he were my DH, I'd definitely want the consultant to know about it promptly, then he [the consultant] can decide whether the MRI [& next appointment with him] needs to be brought forward.
As an aside; I know you are worried about your employment situation - but don't seem to be getting very far.. Now when things like that affect me, I've learned to look about me and see what else I should be attending to? Once that other thing is dealt with, it's amazing how the 'blockage' on the first problem tends to evaporate.0 -
Hi all, sorry I was MIA yesterday. We had a day out at a mining museum (which oddly enough has a special sci-fi exhibit on at the minute!) which was great, and all the better that I got it as a cheap deal
. I then had a scouts meeting last night so it was a busy one. On top of that it would have been my Dad's 56th birthday, the 6th one he's missed
.
So, today was the playgroup meeting. It sounds like they wouldn't be able to open until Jan/Feb time as it takes that long for a new provision to get Ofsted regulated. This is a good thing in terms of childcare as I'd have to pay for DS2 from now until the term after his 3rd birthday (He's 3 in January) when he'd get it free, but obviously not so hot in terms of job prospects! I can't afford playgroup if I'm not working but I'd rather be working and paying for playgroup if that makes sense. Anyway, I spoke again to the woman running it about the possibility of a job and she's agreed to consider me as a helper, however, hopefully I will have another job way before the New Year so it's kind of irrelevant.
This afternoon we met friends at a local woods/play area so the biys have had great fun running around and climbing trees. DH has seemed a bit down though, although he insists he's ok. Fingers crossed he perks up.
In terms of money, we received the £5 credit today for mileage for attending DH's medical 2 weeks ago. I also received an unexpected refund from the tax man of £32.04 which was rather lovely of them. The biggest thing though is I spoke to the woman who normally pays my playgroup wages and she said she'd actionned my holiday pay at the beginning of August. I haven't received anything so she will check it out for me. She thinks I'm owed around £200 which will definitely help.
*Robin*, I took the consultant to mean DH would be seen within 4 weeks rather than wait 4 weeks for an appointment, but it's already been a week and we've heard nothing. I will take your advice and chase it up.
Off to get weighed now, first time in weeks I've been looking forward to it. I've been good so I'm hoping it shows on the scales XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
