  • Thanks Granny smiley-hug002.gif. DH understood my point and agreed that he can't run before he can walk, but we will talk to the Dr at the Head Injury Clinic about it when we go again in a couple of weeks.

I'm off to bed now as I'm permanently tired at the moment. Who'da thought a week off work would be so exhausting!! Feeling a bit crappy still. Starting to wonder if I'm a hypochondriac smiley-ashamed001.gif.

Hope you are feeling better this morning. If you are right and your situation last month was what you thought, it'll take your body a while to get over it. I'm sure the stupid weather doesn't help.

  • If I'm honest Granny I still feel similar to how I felt last month smiley-sick007.gif, but thought I was just imagining it all and it would go away. It isn't as strong as it was but it hasn't gone away. :( I'm also starting yet another cold smiley-sick010.gif. I think I need put down!!

We've had a lazy morning today and despite my cold I've promised the boys we can go swimming this afternoon. We get in the local pool cheaply due to a scheme running alonside DH's benefit, and they have a 'fun' inflateable session in the afternoon so we are going for that.waterski.gif .

I think you need to get yourself back to the doctor as you are the lynch pin of your home and need to look after yourself for everyone else's sake as well.

    Enjoy the swim x

  • I hope you had fun swimming! My kids keep asking to go and i feel bas saying no, it's £15 for us three though and mcdonalds is conveniently parked next door to it so i always end up in there too :(!!

I have about a week and half of every month where i feel awful, tired, full of cold, achy and tired. My dh says it's hypochondria lol but i think i work so hard to get everything straight in the weeks i do have energy that my body just says NO sometimes and forces me to slow down. You work very hard too so if you're feeling rubbish make sure you are kind to yourself, have some early nights, eat well & drink lots of water & perhaps buy some vitamins to boost vit b & c levels. I've just started taking some so hoping for an improvement next month! lol xx

  • Finally snaffled the laptop back from DS1!!

Thank you everyone for you kind words, concern and telling offs!! I feel both cherished and b0ll0cked in equal measure smiley-angelic008.gif. I promise to get myself checked out.

We had a lovely time swimming. DFW321 it cost £2.80 for the 4 o us today but that's with a discount. Even so, it's normally £7ish so £15 sounds really steep! It's a council run pool in a leisure centre rather than a private pool though if that makes a difference.

Finally let go of the £1k I'd earmarked for paying off debts so a quick recount of what we owe and we are now at £17844

  • So today the 4 of us went to the cinema to see Ice Age 4. It's slightly cheaper on a Tuesday but it still cost £17 . Film was really good though.

We then went to collect DH's prescription and stopped at the park again at DS1's request. DS2 wasn't as sprightly as he usually is at the park and when we got home he threw up everywhere smiley-sick017.gif. He seemed better afterwards though and half an hour of cuddles later, he was all bright again. In the meantime though DH had taken himself off for a lie down and when he got up he was a bit disorientated. At this point I was due to go to work :( so I had to just drop them all off with MIL as planned.

My shift at work went ok but when I came home DH was worse again, panicked and confused. He asked me 3 times how my shift had been and MIL said he couldn't remember going to the cinema etc this morning when she'd asked him about it. He didnt take his trazadone tablet last night as he only told me on sunday that he was taking the last one rather than giving me chance to pre-order them, so I rang the docs on monday and collected them today as mentioned. I'm therefore hoping it's the missed tablet rather than any new drama, but I sent him off to bed about an hour ago and I've got everything crossed he will be better tomorrow.

Apparently DS2 didnt eat anything at tea time but has otherwise been ok.

    What a day!!
