wow where can I get a sister like her, oops only joking mine are lovely too but honestly.
DF bought over kindle touch for me today to make up for not buying car tax. He bought it for himself but "can't get on with it" so is reverting back to his normal kindle. I'm debating whether to recondition mine and give it to OH for his birthday or sell it. With him being so grumpy lately I don't know that he deserves it.

Sorry Granny, my sister is probably the one thing I wouldn't sell!!:D Sometimes I wonder how she and I turned out so well with parents like ours! In comparison, my Mum finally phoned from her holiday tonight. Apparently it's sufficient explaination as to why she hasn't contacted anyone for almost a week that she 'keeps forgetting about us'. Well cheers for that Mother!
Yay to DF giving you a kindle though. I definately don't think your OH deserves the old one. I'm thinking something more like this

:rotfl: what is it with you and bumping people on the head, anyone would think you had a wish to harm :rotfl:
I agree with you however but sadly being the nice Granny that I am I just want to know what's wrong with him so I can help. TBH he's doing too much overtime at the moment and its making him crabby but he won't listen to me. It's not even as though I'm seeing the real benefit of it as he's squirrelling it away for treats instead of helping with the debts.Targets

They do this as standard with head injuries incase this causes fits. He was allowed to reapply for the licence 8 weeks before the year was up, which we did but it's now been 15 weeks since then and they haven't even looked at the paperwork we filled in yet
. It may still be that he can't have his licence back, but it would be nice to know one way or the other Xx

Apart from the shopping we've tidied the back garden and took a trip to the tip. I've also had my sister over for tea and she came armed with gifts!! And i want a sister like that! I'm the one in debt and yet it's usually me that gives to my sisters all the time. I cut their hair for them for free, clothe their kids in ours that the kids have outgrown and when they are around me i ferry them around everywhere at my expense in my car! I usually end up paying for meals out and everything too  no wonder i ended up in debt :rotfl:please-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »Sorry Granny, my sister is probably the one thing I wouldn't sell!!:D Sometimes I wonder how she and I turned out so well with parents like ours! I'm sure he is a nice guy really or you wouldn't be with him, and I'm sorry you can't get him to open up. He probably is just tired and thinking he is making you happy rather than miserable. Sometimes men really are just from another planetDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Just shows what a wonderful person you are DFW321!I often think that I don't like what I see in a mirror but I'm damn well proud of what's inside. We will have adjacent parking spaces in heaven!

Heh heh, previous to the accident my DH deserved a good slap on occasions (not that I ever delivered it I hasten to add!!) but since the accident there really is no reason to beat him.

Today we managed to spend £30 on soft play and having lunch there . The boys loved it though so I'm a happy Mummy.
I also helped fill in the rest of DH's DWP questionaire and posted that back. It said please use the pre-paid envelope included but there wasn't one so I had to pay to post it - 90p!! Annoying when I know he will be called in for a medical as well just so the government can make a target. But enough of that as I'm sure I bored you all with it the other day!
This afternoon we called in to see MIL who has been ill with a cold the last few daysso we haven't seen much of her. Oooh that reminds me, yesterday at Mr T's we got a couple of jigsaws to put away for either her birthday or christmas, which were reduced to £1.75 each :T. They look at least £10's worth each so I'm chuffed with that find.
And tonight DH's best mate called round. He brought the boys a new skylander each for no reason other than because he wanted to! He is worth his weight in gold that one! And it means we won't be pestered to buy them any for, ooh at least a day and a half :rotfl:.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Just dragged the boys in to town for a haircut, only to find that the appointment is actually next week  Apparently when the receptionist said Friday over the phone on Tuesday, I was meant to know she meant next week! It's cost me just under a tenner to park the car and get them their burger bribe, not to mention the diesel, and I will have to do it all again next week grrrr.
And to finish the day off nicely I've got a shift at job 2 starting in an hour. Where did the last 6 days go??!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
