Lol @ HAW and DFW :rotfl:. My Mum gave me "The Talk" at about 9 I think and I was desperate to be grown up and start my periods. It happened quite soon afterwards and I was gutted when I realised it was not at all glamorous!!! DH is still waiting for his "Talk" :rotfl:.
Well we have had a fantastic day. Felt like royalty sauntering past the mahoosive queue and down to the Corporate bit. In reality we went through the same door, we just didn't have to queue first :rotfl:.
DS2 LOVED the trams and they both loved the shuggy boats and the Merry-Go-Round. We all loved the old fashioned fish and chip shopand had a great time in the shops and pit village etc. We honestly had a brilliant day, but considering it was "free" we still managed to spend £30 . Lunch was £14, £5 on sweets , £5 on rides, £5 on ice creams and extra drinks as it was so hot we exhausted the ones we'd taken with us really quick. It was all worth it when DS2 said "I love this holiday"
. Don't know where he thought we were going to sleep :rotfl: Xx

I am sooooo pleased the forum is back!! What a day! 5 hours in A&E because DS2 has broken his arm AGAIN :eek:
We went to a cafe at a country park to meet Grandma, my Mum and 2 Aunties. Right infront of where you sit is a little wall with a 4ft drop the other side onto grass, and guess who decided to jump off it??!! He landed funny and has caused a bad break above his elbow - same arm as last time. He had to have diamorphine while they manipulated it into a plaster but we were warned he may need an op to fix it . Thank goodness they were happy with it once in plaster, but we have to go back on Thursday.
I need to lie down!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Oh No, that's just awful!! Poor little mite. Hope he manages to fix his arm without the op. I think I would have gone to pieces if one of mine had broken something. I tend to go into flap mode if anything happens, my hands involuntarily flap up and down in front of my face. You did well to cope!
Fingers crossed tomorrow runs more smoothly XxxDebt total before IVA = £43,350.

Thank you both. Enchanted, I knew it was bad when the first thing he said was "I need a doctor".
Bless him though he has been so brave. However, he is still up because he slept a lot this afternoon due to the medication. He is going to bed in 5 mins and then I can relax. Fingers crossed he sleeps all night XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Yehhhh for Granny being out of hospital  but Booo for the wee man!
Hope he's okay! Kids are tough though, tougher than adults! He'll be right as rain before you know it, whilst the adults still worry! :wall:
Well done re the "free" day out!just think how much money you would have spent if the entertainment wasn't free?!? :money:

Oh no, bless him and you, hope he managed to get a good night sleep and his arm isn't bothering him too much.
Try not to get too stressed about it you need to take care of yourself, remember it will fix and he will no doubt be bouncing around and being his usual self in no time, kids bounce back so quickly.0
