Since DGD1 was born I have got into the habit of always having something, cereal bar or crisps or some such thing in my handbag.
DGD2 asks everytime we go out now for her snack from "Granny's bag". It's quite cute and so far I've not let her down yet.

Oh em jee Lucky, I can't believe I missed the big news! Congratulations, I am so so happy for you. Your Mum's reaction was pretty much identical to my Mum's when my sister told her she was pregnant with her third, but she's really excited about it now.
I loved DM2, if you go on Youtube and look for 'the minions biggest loser' it's absolutely hilarious. Really cheers me up - might work on your teariness.
Well done on being sub 9.5 too! Glad everything is going so well. :jBarclaycard [STRIKE] £2770 [/STRIKE] now £2690.

Cheers chick!
I've seen that DM2 clip and agree it is hilarious! Also found the photo on Facebook of Kate and Wills cradling a minion instead of baby George very funny too. Feel bad about laughing at that though - Orf with her head!!
On a completely different subject, I had to have "The Talk" with DS1 this evening . Last night we were watching The Zoo on tv and when the gorillas mated he said "are they doing what I think they are doing??!!" That surprised me as I just assumed he didn't know anything yet (he's 9 in September) but as we had company then in the form of DH's friend and his girlfriend, I just said yes and left it at that. Tonight I asked him what he knew about it and he got all embarrassed and refused to tell me. I said I just wanted to make sure he knew the truth rather than his friends telling him rubbish and that led into a conversation about it. I've agreed to buy him a book so he can learn more at his own pace and I've told him to ask me any questions any time and I will always answer truthfully.
I feel I have earned my parent stripes now!!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi Lucky, glad DM2 was funny, we will go at the weekend I think.
Wow to you having the talk with DS1, my DS1 refuses to talk about it with me and he is 12. They do have quite good s3x ed talks here though. But I have already said to his dad that he will need to have more input in that area from now on.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Thanks Granny and Chev!
The most awkward part about "The Talk" was knowing I'm pregnant at the minute so DS1 has cast iron proof his parents 'do it' :rotfl:.
Awake early this morning because DH has gone out for a run BY HIMSELF!!. He has an app on his phone which tracks his run and by logging in to it on my phone I can watch him run, by way of a map and a little red line which keeps moving. He is only running down a path at the back of the house so he can't get lost, but if that red dot stops I'm scrambling the rescue copter!! My nervous are shot!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. MOrning PLMBL, well done on the talk :eek:i have had the talk with DD but not with DS yet. I have a feeling DD has already told him though. Told DH he needs to speak to DS as I've done all the girl talk :rotfl:
Hope your DH has enjoyed his run and is back home safely.
Take care.x.0 -
Hope the run went off without a hitch and you get some time to relax today. Won't be able to post again before the forum closes for the weekend, so hope you have a great one
