:rotfl: I don't post so much at the moment but I read so not sure how I'll cope :rotfl:
Actually reading 'Mr Bloater's' diary at the mo and as its 2 years and 133 pages long, should keep me happy for a while
Glad DH is home safe. How is Grandma getting on?

Ooh yes, thanks for reminding me Granny! Grandma got out of hospital yesterday after 10 days :j:j. I spoke to her on the phone while she was in hospital but I never did go to see her. When I told her I felt guilty for not going in she told me I was stupid and she didn't want me there anyway :rotfl:. Will see her tomorrow.
I sometimes lurk Mr Bloater's thread too. Love his writing style, so funny XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hope DH is safely back and you have a lovely day at Beamish!
I love the sweetshop too, I like to watch them making the treats especially as you get a taste when they're ready. In fact I like mooching round all the shops, I'm incorrigible wherever I go :rotfl:.

Hello Lucky, :hello:
Hope you're having an amazing day at Beamish - it's one of my favourite outings 'Oop Norf' - love the cottages and shop, and the merry-go-round.
Glad to hear Granny is back at home.0 -

That is something I do not envy at all! I may have escaped lightly! OHs girls are quite open about all things female, so hopefully I can take a back seat. But I do remind about certain precautions when I can!!please-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »The most awkward part about "The Talk" was knowing I'm pregnant at the minute so DS1 has cast iron proof his parents 'do it' :rotfl:.

Oh I remember 'THE talk' with my ds1  !! I'd asked dh to do it but he kept stalling and finding excuses so after one of his swimming lessons we popped to the library next door and I got out a book on it. It was 10x more graphic than I had realised (why did I not check it first!!! d'oh!) and it ended up being a very frank discussion. One which I came away from looking very red and one which I think he did not enjoy either LOL!!! However he knew and after that there were no more questions! So if anyone's kids from my ds1 class didn't know i'm sure after he went back to school the next day he told them all
! (p.s my ds1 was 7 at the time!!!!!)
I'm not looking forward to 2 more of these 'talks'!!! !!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Kids do talk amongst themselves, so they'll have an idea of something at least before 'The Talk'.
Although in saying that, I'm still waiting on my mum having 'The Talk' with me!!!:rotfl:Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -

:rotfl::rotfl: I had the talk with my mum when I was even younger than my DS1! I was 5 if i remember rightly and I kept asking about babies as two of my aunties were pregnant at the timeI think the younger the better my mum gave me a leaflet that the doctor had given her and it had pictures of naked men & women (from birth to grown up...) and also of men and women in 'positions' not dis-similar to those featured in More magazine on their 'position of the month/week' :rotfl: I don't recall being shocked. But thinking about it I should have been :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
