Hi Lucky, hope everything is ok with you today and you are not worrying Toooooooo much?
I say that with much love, as I too have been where you are and it's very difficult not to become sensitive to everything your body is doing and worrying and imagining what might be happening.
Keep positive and keep looking forward to your scan.
Your day yesterday sounds fun again. I'm going to have to get some pointers off you as to where to take the kids. I'm in complete admiration about how you are such a lovely Mum. Clearly family means a lot to you :-))
I have had to put a day out on hold today, shame really as the weather is actually quite nice. But Hey Ho, with 74p to my name it couldn't be helped. Will make it up to the kids at the weekend. Played Hide and Seek around the house and garden instead.
Like I said.. Hope all is well. Thinking of you all.

Thank you everyone. The phrase 'be careful what you wish for' springs to mind as I have felt rough all day today :rotfl:. I'm also super tired. DH got up with the boys and let me have a lie in, but I still feel like I could sleep for a week!
Enchanted what a lovely thing to say :A. Family are EVERYTHING to me. Before I had DS1 I climbed to the top of my career ladder and loved it, but as soon as I had him I was like, 'right that's it, he's all that matters'. Don't know if that's right or wrong . I'm sorry you had to cancel your plans today, but it sounds like you all had fun anyway!
Took DS2 back to fracture clinic today. Bless him his arm is still swollen and VERY bruised underneath the plaster, so they had to put another temporary plaster on rather than a normal one incase his arm continued to swell and it hurt him. The new plaster is made of fibreglass though so is more robust that the one he had put on on Saturday. If the plaster cast lasts, we have to go back 3 weeks today, but if it looks like it's dropping to bits beforehand we just have to go back. The fracture is healing nicely though.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi PLMBL:)
Sorry haven't been by for a while...blimey it's been busy, trips to A&E too..so sorry about that and at the start of the hols too:( Oh well..sounds like you're coping anyway. Take it easy when you can...
We will be officially in hols next week but it'll be a cheap week..need to stack everything against the dreaded debt..time to spend when I really have it, rather than effectively mortgaging my future!
Enjoying the warm weather SO much..still in the garden with a cold G&T..cruising the diaries on here and updating the spends diary.. Maybe I should get out more.:rotfl:..but am very happy:rotfl::DMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Morning
Hope you got a good sleep last night.
Great to hear the fracture healing well. No harm in having a proper sturdy cast on for a little bit longer. Inconvenient, but good.
It's so obvious family are everything to you Lucky. It shows in every post of yours. Love it!
Have a great dayWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Hi Brizzle and HAW, thanks for dropping in. Hopefully it will be sunny next week too Brizzle and you can do plenty of parks and picnics for free.
Today we went to Tynemouth Priory which is another EH property. There isn't a great deal there, ruins of a castle and priory, but it's a lovely place to visit. Very picturesque, great views and lots of space for the boys to run around. MIL came too and she then paid for the boys and DH to play crazy golf nearby. MIL signed up to EH as a member while we were at the Priory so after the golf we decided to go back to Belsay Hall where we were on Tuesday, as she really wanted to see it. We've had a full day out and not long been home but it's been great and very low spend too.
I've got my scan date, 20th August! I'll be 12 weeks 5 days. It would have been my Dad's birthday that day which is strange. I normally half dread that date but now I'm looking forward to it! DH has also got his Epilepsy Clinic appointment through and it's for next Saturday!! Odd that it's on a weekend but pleased that it's so soon.
Talking of DH I'm beside myself that it's the stupid warrior thing that he signed up for tomorrow. He agreed to it 6 months ago before the seizures really took hold and I honestly thought he'd be further on in his recovery by now. I can't go spectate as I won't be back for work in time, and whilst I trust his friend that he is going with, I'm still worried for DH. St John's ambulance will be there though so at least help is on hand if needed. I'm looking forward to it all being over and him being home safe. He's not allowed to do anything else like that in future!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

My son agreed to do a warrior thing today. He is going because someone dropped out. No training whatsoever. It looks quite severe but there are lots of marshals etc there to help too. I do hope your DH enjoys it aNd doesn't push himself too hard. If it is the same one DS1 is doing I understand why you are worried.
Lots of hugs and try to keep yourself occupied during the day. I think it ois worse when you can't spectate so have no idea what is going on.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Thanks Pooh. I assume they will be at the same event then, in Shap? DH has assumed me he will miss out the obstacle that gives them electric shocks as they run through it. It advises anyone with Epilepsy not to do it . The whole thing looks like Hell and fills me with dread. I hope your DS does well in it though! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
