What is it about kids and boredom?! DD3 in the house all day yesterday. She has the opportunity to come out with us last night to Asda (ok yeah, not the most exciting place in the world but it's still 'out'), but no! She doesn't budge off the sofa
Hope you had a good nights sleep and are refreshed and ready for a new dayWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
It sticks in my craw, as I dont have time to be bored!

Hi everyone, how lovely to have you all round
This morning we went to the local park at the boys request. It turned into a bit of a disaster as DS2 fell off not one but two bits of the equipment! A grazed knee and a bruised ego were about the worst of his injuries though. Then DS2 slipped on a muddy patch and put his broken arm out to save himself . Cue lots of crying and a frantic 5 minutes trying to determine if he had hurt it further! Thankfully when he calmed down it seemed ok.
After lunch back at home we went to mr T's. I had 2 of my Healthy Start Vouchers to spend on fruit and veg, totalling £6.20 and I also decided to take £3 of clubcard vouchers (leaving the rest of my stash at home to use for something else) and I had a money off coupon for 25p! Upshot was I got £24 of shopping for £12.71.
After taking the shopping home we went to a woods/country park. It cost £1.40 to park for 2 hours  which was the only option, but we spent well over an hour walking round, climbing trees (the boys not me!) and playing in the park there. Believe it or not DS1 fell again in the park and scraped his other knee!! Don't know what is wrong with that boy today!!
So I'm down to pennies to my name but I now have a bit more food to be getting on with, and things to make picnics with for the next few days. Hoping to get to Alnwick Castle tomorrow and probably Nat Trust places the rest of the week. Will get that £5 via MIL later as the boys go there while I'm at fat club (which won't cost anything as I won a free week last week or I wouldn't be going).Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hey! I've got a clumsy one here too like your ds! My DD has broken 2 cups this week, dropped ice-creams, knocked over ornaments, fallen over, fell off her scooter & the trampoline:wall: and the worst thing is when girls fall over you never hear the end of it and the screeching............argh!!! :shhh::shocked: she drives me nuts! :rotfl:

Aw your poor DD dfw! DS1 is usually quite agile but today he has been more hippo pond than swan lake!
MIL only had a £10 note tonight and asked me if I had £5 in exchange. Had to admit to having less than a pound to my name so she just gave me the tenner :A.
I'm shattered (as usual!) as DS2 had a bad night again last night. Desperately want to stay up and have a 'proper' evening while the kids are in bed but may have to concede defeat and go to bed!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

You sound like you're having a fabulous summer holidays with your boys - despite the accidents! At least they'll have some lovely memories of all the fun visits. That was nice of your MIL. My mum used to slip me money in my bag when I wasn't looking when she knew I was skint when the kids were little. I always told her not to but then I'd get home and find £10 in my bag!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Children and knees! It must be the time of year. Little girl staying next door has completely skinned her knee and DS1, who is 27, is complaining of skinned knees after his Total Warrior day. He calls them booboos!
I hope your boys manage the rest of the week without any more falls and have lots of fun.
If you haven't been to Alnwick castle yet a warning about the tree house. It is very expensive and is really only a very expensive cafe! I felt it was a huge con!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I like the look of the tree house, and I love Alnwick Gardens. Its probably money for the experience rather than the food.Trying to shift that debt!0
