i did suggest a burka earlier..might get a bit hot as it is in august!

Not necessarily so if you had a "vent" in about the neck area, and were nude underneath.

I'm thinking of the Hawaiian mou-mou, which is a large "tent" garment, and very cool!

I would be very worried about the consequences - sharp, hard objects, being drawn across soft, sensitive spherical objects:eek:

Sounds like something you could make a fortune from. I hear that people pay good money for that kind of thing :D

Or one of these, it would be cool and double up as "National dress" :D

I had to go and google no 1. dress - it seems to be the 'dress uniforms' for service people? Let OH go dressed as Nelson or something, I dare you!

A website for your own wedding? Wow.

I remember years ago getting an invite stating 'please do not wear black' seemed reasonable so we did not when we got there, the bride came down the aisle...in black:D apparently she wanted to break with tradition and have her wedding remembered so she wore black:D

Love this thread, a friend of mine has actually asked if I would consider going blond to be her bridemaid, (I have black hair), my reaction was about as welcome as the request....

Ha Ha Id completely ignore it and if she asks about it at the wedding, tell her you thought the joke was very funny, but obviously no-one is that deluded!

i am very tempted to text the bride!!

I've just checked the website for the wedding (yes, there is a website) and there is no mention of facial hair on that, so maybe it was just our invitation!!!! will have to ask others what their invitations said!! it did state the rest of the male dress code tho:

"National dress, No.1 dress, Morning Attire or Lounge Suits."

no idea what 'no 1 dress' is...tux?! i read morning attire as pyjamas!!

for the women it says 'colour is always welcome at a summer wedding'...i might take that to an extreme :):)

Seriously? Some people are so far up their own @rse they can't see daylight!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Please OP, I'm begging you, please get to the bottom of this and let us know what it's all about because quite honestly I'm not going to be able to rest until I know what this particular bridezilla has got against beards. I assume she hasn't invited any muslims or jews (or members of ZZ Top for that matter) because getting rid of their beards wouldn't be an option.

    What a hoot.

And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end
