I hope to hear that you got that list done! Your diaries not boring, please don't try and spice it up by heading out and spending a fortune on lingerie. Just keep going in the right direction.
Glad your blow up to your Mum seems to have done the trick.
Nice new sig! I'm itching to update mine already but have to wait till the end of the month when I know what interest will have to be paid as it would be so demoralising to see the figure go down again!

Good Morning :j:j:j:j:j:j:j
We have sunshine at last :j:j:)
I'm in a bit of a panic this morning, DS1 just phoned to tell me he'll be here on Sunday night (with his girlfriend), which means that since BF's two sons will also still be here as will DS2 and DS3, I need to think of something economical and easy to cook that'll feed 8 :eek:
Also has to be something I can put in the slow cooker as I'm working on Sunday. Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
The pizza went down well, but I'm sure I could make it more economical by using less cheese
Better go, I'm running late (this is my third attempt at writing this post, I keep pressing something that makes it disappear!).

Back again

Not much going on today, work was the same as usual. Not too busy, but we gained a new member of staff on Monday, so I've been training her for the last few days. She's really nice and I'm sure she'll fit in with the rest of the madhouse.
Today was a NSD and this evening's "meal from the stores" was ham, egg, chips and onion rings.....very nice but not very slimming
Sold a piece of jewellery on ebay for £9.99 tonight. It can go towards my Ne*t bill, but I won't make any additional payments on anything till I've paid my car insurance (due on the 2nd September) and I won't pay that until after payday on the 24th.
A free listing weekend on ebay would be REALLY good this week, then I can relist everything that didn't sell today. I keep checking the ebay board, but I haven't seen anything yet
I'm working tomorrow, off Friday, then I'm working for 6 days straight through (Boo!!). At least when I'm working I can't spend anything.
I'm wishing my life away here, waiting for payday so I can blitz those bills.
One thing I CAN do tomorrow is try to eat healthier, so tomorrow's challenge is to eat less junk. I've had a bloated tummy all day today, which usually happens when I eat too much rubbish. I've been having cravings for watermelon all day today so I'm guessing that's my body's way of telling my I need to eat more fruit
I'm going to finish off my wine bottle now (I know!). I've already eaten a load of rubbish today, so one glass won't make any difference...........and its not MSE to throw wine away

Have to leave for work in a minute, but I'm planning on today being a NSD. I've made my lunch, I'm having ham sandwiches and packet of cheese and onion crisps

I'm will NOT buy a magazine (one of my many vices) and I've been through all the old newspapers in the recycling box at work and cut out all the old crossword puzzles to keep me occupied (and away from the shops at lunchtime).

Why do I keep losing my posts halfway through??
This stepmother lark is hard work, I'm struggling a bit at the moment, trying very hard not to be resentful so keeping things to myself at the moment which isn't good
On the plus side, today's my day off and its lovely and sunny, so the plan for this morning is to hang out my washing and do some gardening. On the downside, today is also the day I have to go to the doctors for THAT test us ladies have to go for every few years
has to be done though.
Slight hint last night that I may be thinking too much about money (or the lack of it).............I dreamt that I'd sold a kidney to clear my credit card bill. Don't worry, that's definitely not on my list of moneysaving things to do
I really need to work on a meal plan for next month. We're spending way too much money on food. I've been reading the OS boards, and one thing that stands out is that if I want to save money, I need to be organised about meals.
I also have DS1's gf's birthday at the end of the month. I'll need to get something nice as its her 21st.
Right, better go and get gardening before I've wasted half the day. xFive years/60 months to sort myself out - Month 2/608.33% PAID

Hope 'that' test went well, dignity out the window but its got to be done. As I'm currently single and not looking (would be a bit disrespectful to Bob whilst we still share a house) my test will be the only time I tidy myself up down there all year, as it's a special occasion I might get a vajazzle from the £ shop to really mark the event. Might put a smile on the nurses face but given she's a misery guts I doubt it.
How old are your BFs boys? I can imagine it gets difficult but don't bottle things up, let it all out on here so you don't explode.

Hi BC all done for the next three years hopefully.
Did the garden yesterday morning, looks good but probably won't last long before it needs doing again. LOL, just read that back and it sounds like I'm talking about something else, but I really do mean my garden :rotfl::rotfl:
Was gutted yesterday, I relisted all my unsold stuff on ebay only to see last night that we have a free listing weekend this week - typical :mad:
Have just closed one non paying item case and have two more pending. Why do people bid and buy things if they have no intention of paying for them? This is really annoying
I'm supposed to be going out with a friend this evening, but my conscience has just kicked in and the reality of having very little money till the 24th means I'll have to let her know I can't go.
Better go, I'll be back later hopefully. Hope everyone has a great NSD xFive years/60 months to sort myself out - Month 2/608.33% PAID

Good morning

What a brilliant night last night! I had all three boys home, we had a lovely dinner, then we all watched the Olympics closing ceremony which was brilliant :T:T
I couldn't have wished for anything else, I had everyone I love all in the same room (cheesy or what!)
:D
Back down to earth now, I'm absolutely skint till the 24th. Sold a few things on ebay, but have another two non-paying bidders. What's wrong with everyone? If you don't want to pay............don't bid!!
Been up since 6.30 (DS1's GF had to catch an early train) so I've hung two loads of washing on the line, but I'm not very optimistic, those clouds look quite dark
I've made my lunch (cheese and tomato sandwiches) and tonight's dinner will be a mixed grill.
Time to go now............if I can prise my laptop away from BF's DS3 I'll be back tonight with an update, hopefully telling you I've had a NSD xFive years/60 months to sort myself out - Month 2/608.33% PAID

Glad you had such a great evening! Its not cheesy, I love having all my loved ones with me. You can't be sad when its like that and it matters far more than any money ever will. My Mum gets all soppy when she has us all in one room, I'm the sticking point as I live so far away. We surprised her on her Bday this year and I turned up out of the blue, she was so happy she just burst into tears and made us group hug. I loved it :j.
I had some eBayers mess me about too, really what's the point? I'd much rather people were straight with me, if you don't want it just say, don't ignore me or say you'll pay then don't. You're going to end up with a NPB strike by not paying anyway so why not at least try and resolve the situation by telling me you don't want it. Nothing worse can happen.
Hope today was just as good for you.
