Sorry you are feeling blue, hope things look brighter today. Chocolate is sometimes a necessary expense!

Definitely tot up how much a magazine a week costs you over the year and think of what you'd buy with the cash instead. All magazines recycle the same old rubbish anyway.

    Have a great day.

  • Good morning!

Feeling a bit better again today, no more misery guts :D

Its difficult to find the time to post at the moment because we have visitors, but I'm doing my best to sneak in the odd post. BF knows about my diary, but don't really want his boys to read it.

I'm working today, two more days to go, then I get a day off....yayy! Lunch today will have to be some microwaveable egg fried rice. I'd forgotten how much bread teenage boys can put away, so I've left the bread for the boys breccie or lunch. I'll get some more later (food spends come from a different account, so I don't count it as a spend).

Had a long chat with BF last night about everything. Even thought about selling up and buying something smaller, but I feel better this morning. Maybe I should stick to my plan and try and hold out for five years and see where I'm at then.

Poor old BF was traumatised when I came home from work yesterday. He started cutting the grass for me and came across a "huge" grass snake :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think the snake was probably more scared than he was :rotfl:

Right, I'd better get dressed, here's hoping for another NSD today.

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Didn't quite manage a NSD yesterday. I had to contribute £5 towards a gift for someone at work. I don't really mind, but I've become quite used to hanging onto my money :D

The weather's not looking too bad today, but I don't think its going to last.

I made about £60 on ebay last night, which can go towards my car insurance. I also checked my NE*T account and they've credited me for the faulty bra I sent back, so well done NE*t :T I'm going to try and clear that bill after next payday if I can, but I also need to start saving for Christmas. One good thing about the situation I'm in at the moment, at least I can't add to my credit card debts buying gifts for people, so I'll have to be imaginative this year :D:D

Wish I didn't have to go to work today, but hey-ho .......hope everyone had a good NSD x

  • This must be the most boring diary ever :o

Have to confess to a "spend" yesterday - I bought an egg mayo roll for my lunch, but if it helps, it was very nice indeed!

I'm hoping today will be a NSD. I've made ham and tomato sandwiches for lunch and I'm taking a book in with me, so I'm not tempted to buy a magazine.

Its funny how your mindset changes as you try to pay off those debts. At the moment I'm looking forward to payday so I can pay some bills, but pre LBM, by this time, I'm usually planning what I can buy once that money hits the bank!

I'm really hoping to pay off the Ne*t total after the 24th, but am getting very impatient - I just want to get on with it.

Right, I'd better go, hope everyone has a good day x

  • Good morning diary!

I'm not working today and have a list of jobs as long as your arm.

BF's boys are still here, so I'll take them out for a couple of hours later. If they don't fancy coming shopping with me, they can go off on their own in town for a couple of hours if they like, I'm sure they've got money burning a hole in their pocket!

I sold quite a few items on ebay last night, but I'm not going to relist the bits that didn't sell till the next free listing weekend, whenever that may be :D

DS3 has his driving test this afternoon, so please keep your fingers crossed :)

List of things to do today:-
    1. Laundry
    2. Ironing
    3. Sort out paperwork
    4. Do some gardening if the weather stays dry.
    5. Promised BF's boys some home made pizza for tea
    6. Give my diary a signature.

    I'll be back later x

  • I've just written a huge, rambling post and lost it all.........I hate it when that happens

Hi redkez nice to see you, thanks for saying hi :) Do you have a diary?

This must be the only diary where NOTHING ever happens :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi DFW, sorry to hear you're feeling down too. Hope you're better today :)

Its horrible when you keep welling up and you have no control over it. I'm constantly close to tears and have been since the divorce even though my personal life is happier than its been for 10 years........how daft its that?!

Everything bubbled to the surface again last night with my mum. She's always been independent but now her balance is bad, she's given up on everything, she won't go out and my dad does all the shopping and the housework etc. When I called last night, she was going on about how she was a burden on everyone and we'd all be better off if she was dead :(

I just burst into tears and told her not to be so daft and how does she think it makes me feel to hear my mum saying things like that? After that I really got into my stride and told them how frustrating it is for me when they don't let me help! You should've seen the response I got when I offered to paint the kitchen for them :D

Dad's just been on the phone. It seems my blow up last night did the trick, she's been up and about a lot more today :)

I'd better get moving or I'll never reach those shops. If I stick to the list I should be ok :o

Wish me luck with my list. Back later x
