    Hello SA

I didn't realise anybody still read this! I've been a bit rubbish at posting, haven't I?

So much has happened!! Good and bad.

Bad news is no superpowers :( and my foot hurts sometimes so it's a case of pain management, lots of padding and sensible shoes!

Mum and Dad are now playing silly games, Mum's started flirting with one of Dad's friends and Dad's all uppity about it even though he has a girlfriend. This is why I moved from a small town to one of the biggest cities in the world :o It's all a bit Jeremy Kyle to be honest!! I've now asked to not hear any of the gossip side because they both drive me nuts!

What else? OHHH, I was in the Closing Ceremony :j I was part of John Lennon's chin. It was such an incredible experience, and I met so many celebs. And, oh my goodness, 80,000 people cheering you. Nothing like it! It was a literal wall of sound, you can actually feel it!

And I got a performing job!! I forced myself to go to an open audition (I HATE open auditions, they're so rushed and impersonal), got called back for the dance call, went back a few days later, sang again, danced again, and got a phone call a few days later :j:j:j so I'm going to be travelling around the world on a cruise ship as a lead singer. I still can't really believe it! It's going to be great experience, and it means I'll be able to pay off the vast majority of my debt :eek::eek: Aside from my student loan, I'll be almost debt-free for the first time in my adult life. And then, if I decide to renew my contract, I can actually save money. I'm going to set myself a target of where I want to be in a year financially, just need to do my sums first.

So I start rehearsals in a few weeks, and in the meantime I'm really busy!! I've got to do my tax return (just hope they don't want the money straight away!), visit home, train up the lady taking over my teaching job, get to the gym (I do not want to collapse in a beetroot heap of sweat on the first day of rehearsals!!), write the script for a Hallowe'en cabaret show... Eek!

the love life is totally in the cr*pper, but I'll explain that later! I've already written far too much!!

So the superpower is getting jobs ;)

Congrats and I hope you plan to turn this in to a list of the places you get to visit and the songs you sing at work!

As for the love life who needs on of those when everything else is so exciting!!

I promise I'll keep you updated SA :) I've been looking at the intinery, I'm going to a lot of places I've always wanted to go so very excited.

But, after having been waiting for this and working for this for a year, ANOTHER company called me yesterday asking for my availability for a job coming up. I auditioned for them a year ago  Ah well, Sod's Law!

I'm trying reeeeeeeeally hard to put off doing my tax return, but I think I'm going to get it done tonight. Wish me luck!

for the first time in years no tax rebate :( but I don't owe anything either :)

Oh, you don't understand how much chocolate I'm eating at the moment! I get sad in the evenings because of the whole boy situation and I end up scoffing :( The guy who I was in a show with who I fell in love with has, after over a month of mucking me around, decided he doesn't want me. All I want to do is see him, and I want to clear the air before I leave the country, but I'm scared!!!

The reason I eat chocolate instead of drinking booze is I won't sugar-dial him :rotfl:Although now I've talked about booze, I really fancy a glass of wine...

Hehe I find my sugar highs are more dangerous than when I'm drunk. I'll have a glass if you will. ;)

Urgh boythings really are stupid arent they, still at least you've got the travelling to look forward to while he works out just how badly he mucked up, be brave and give him a call, if the air needs clearing get it over with so you don't take it with you. And this coming from someone who is currently p'd off that the bloke I was seeing and knew I wasn't going to see again after he went 'home' hasn't bothered to keep in touch after he left (logical right!).

    Ok, I called him. Answerphone:

"Err, hi. It's me. I don't want to leave things like this, so, errr, I'd like to see you. Ummmm, yeah. Ok, that's it. Errr, I feel awkward, so I'm gonna go. If you, errr, want to, call me back, then, err, call me back. Ok, that's it. Bye."

    *hits head against wall*

Ahh but you've done it, and just think how much worse it could have been!
