Maybe he needs a job, how about 1 at EH at his local council.

Don't you think he's a bit over zealous for that even ? :D

He'd be sat by the fridges in Sainsburys watching the thermometer waiting for it to drop one degree, then "right, everything off the shelves, it will all have to be binned " !!!

With all due respect, this post is intended for those of you who care whether or not companies should be held account for their actions. This is becuase some of you have been dismissive of my experience at sainsburys and tell me to move on after getting food poisoning from eating their dodgy humous. This is the last exchange I 've had with them and , as you can clearly see, the boss justin king just wants to cover up the incident and pretend sainsburys is a wonderful store with our wonderful olympics coming up.

Dear Mr Macdonald and justin king,

I stated in my last email to you that" I'm afraid that this matter has not been brought to a close.
My friend visited the store in question very recently and noticed that the humous basic range was the only type of humous that had the worrying division in colour previously mentioned.
I have been extremely patient with you and very polite.
I even took the time to discuss the situation with a lady from your store.
She disagreed that there was a division in colour in the humous which caused me food poisoning even though it is 100% clear in the camera footage that there is a division in colour.
In view of this, I have no alternative but to seek legal advice now.
Are you enterning into any more correspondence with me?
I know I am in the right as I have never seen humous with this difference in colour.
You yourselves seem confused as to what is a normal colour; Mr King thought the difference in humous colour was dangerous and another in sainsburys said it is perfectly normal.
I have kept all the emails and will be seeking legal advice on this matter. I will ask someone for a camera memory stick so I can upload the footage to social media sites so people can make there own decision about your food.
I should remind you that food poisoning is not a subject to be taken lightly."

In your email of 30 may 2012 you say:

"Folowing close inspection of the houmous pots where there is a slight colour variation, the sides of the pot are thicker towards the base making the houmous appear darker. Once the houmous is decanted from the pot the colour is consistent, there is no difference.
Thank you once again for contacting us, I am pleased to be able to conclude this matter for you. "

As I have previously stated many times the difference in colour is *not normal* at all and your store is guilty of selling food unfit for human consumption. Your lady I saw in the store also lied to me about the camera footage.

It appars you simply wish not to admit this and cover this up. You do not want to admit your product caused me food poisoning.

I am thankful that in this modern era we have social media networks so that deceitful and corrupt companies such as sainsburys can be exposed to the public.

I will be informing others that you refuse to admit *you poison* your customers.

If you think this constitutes defamation, I would very much welcome (indeed I would be pleased to see) you to issue a writ to me at the address I have provided you with. I can then show the footage to the judge.

I will also be seeking legal advice.

    Mr Richards

---- so there you have it.

big companies just cover everything up everything. next time you get food poisoning or whatever juts expect to be constantly lied to and treated with contempt. That's the way big business works. we are nothings.

You still haven't answered, if Sainsbury's are continuing to sell this houmous that you insist gave you food poisoning just because of the colour, why haven't they been unundated with complaints from all the other hundreds of people who would have been poisoned by it? And if it is causing food poisoning on a large scale do you not think environmental health would have been involved by now?

Why can you not even entertain the idea that you just might have gotten a tummy bug that had nothing to do with the colour of houmous?

Will all due respect and sorry for shouting, but YOU CAN NOT PROVE YOU GOT FOOD POISONING FROM SAINSBURYS.

No solicitor will take this on as a case as you have no proof.

Irrelevant. They have offered what seems a reasonable explanation.

    Libellous statement #1.

Libellous statements #2 and #3. You will simply be laughed out of court if you attempt to take this anywhere with NO EVIDENCE.

Really, as I said, you are onto a complete and utter loser with this one. You have no proof of any of your allegations and you have libelled a huge company who have many many lawyers. Back out now.

I feel sorry for Sainsburys to even have to contemplate conversing with Purplecloud....

Purplecloud you dont get it do you, theres no proof the humous was the cause, all JS stores get a warning if a fault occurs with the chillers and an engineer is called out whatever time of day is os if there was a fault with the chiller then the store would know.

I happened to check the basic humous earlier and it was in tip top condition.

You need to provide samples of the offending Houmous and samples of your poop to EH for them to establish a link between the two. Without this you won't stand a chance in court.

Purple cloud please move on with your life and forget this foolish mission.
