I think everyone will at some point have an issue with chilled products. Supermarkets tend to have strict 20 min guidelines on transferring chilled items from delivery to back chillers and then after a set period of time to the sales chillers. Customers however don't think anything off spending an hour sometimes longer shopping then transferring shopping to the car (which tend to be quite warm in summer and in winter with the heating on) possibly nipping elsewhere on the way home and then unloading and getting them back to chill in the fridge hours after purchase. Even on quick shops I've had meat packaging start to bloat out a little by the time I've got home.0

How about customers who put chilled stuff in their trolley, walk around shopping (could easily be 30 minutes or more) and then put stuff back on the shelves when they decide not to buy ? I've see that loads of times. Some people just get wound up about nothing sometimes don't they ?0 -
I wouldn't be so dismissive and cynical. I bought humous from sainsburys in the past. I had a bad experience of food poisoning. I did not follow it up as it's difficult to prove food poisoning.0

This is the same reply that I posted to your same post on the other thread
No it's not difficult at all, you go to your GP and they test for food poisoning, they can test your poo, or your blood sometimes both and they can test the product that you believed caused it. It then gets reported to the local health department who fully investigate to find out how and why it was caused to prevent an outbreak (just a couple of years ago a number of people including children died of E.Coli food poisoning)
What you would have had would be a bug that could have come from millions of sources.0 -
I went to Sainsburys the other day and bought an extremely large box of chocolates. I took them home and ate the lot.
Today, I've noticed that my trousers feel tight and my scales tell me that I have gained 5lbs in weight.
As you can imagine, I am extremely distressed and I think that Sainsburys should not only offer me a full refund, they should also replace the chocolates, to ease my suffering.
What's that email address?............."I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -

Don't forget you still need new clothes they should at least replace your entire wardrobe with designer clothes that fit your new size and as an extra goodwill gesture they should buy you all new bags, shoes and accessories.0 -

Aarrgh, if only the fridges had been working, the chocolates would have had half the calories. They multiply when they get warm, don't ya know.
