I didn't fancy the idea of the mooncup as I dont get on with tampons either, but I recently bought some really snazzy san pro from wee notions, really jazzy materials, to brighten up any day and saving a fortune, they are called fairy hammocks - not sure on the name.

What about Mary Hammocks :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I would be interested in clubbing together with people for 1, but maybe the postage would out way the savings?

I have recently bought a mooncup and saved a fortune on sanitary towels and tampons. It is also good for the environment. After a few cycles it paid for itself. https://www.mooncup.co.uk check it out...

Good spot. We have an ongoing thread about this which I'll add your post to to keep all the information on this together.

Don't forget about washable pads if the mooncup doesn't appeal. I can highly recommend Peeweez ones!

i'm sorry but i couldnt.....I dont like tampons either.
As for washable Ive kids.......drying them would be an issue with my lack of space.
No amount of persuasion will change me from my ultra thin towels, especially not with pound vouchers on.
I know they arent environmentally friendly but everyone has the one thing where they wont draw the line and this is mine

I use washable ones when I'm in and disposable ones when I'm out as I don't fancy the idea of carrying a used one round with me all day if I have to change it. I can't fault the washable ones though and they are so much more comfortable to wear.

There's a drop down menu. Most of their goods are washable nappies, but there is a link to sanitary towels near the bottom of the list.

Very comfortable, no leaking in my experience, wash very well, SO soft and comfy. Can't believe I ever used disposables. My DH calls them my princess pads because I told him they make me feel like a princess! (A bit over the top but they really are SO comfy!)

I dry them on my bedroom radiator so there are no questions, or unexpected guests finding them drying downstairs!

hopefully this isn't too intimate a question, but I'm currently wrestling with myself over the sanitary protection issue... there's no way I can mooncup, but I'm thinking maybe I can do reusable. You mention they don't leak? Would you say you were about average in flow? It's just I can't imagine them being quite as absorbent as the ultra thin gel filled.
