#226 £485.44/£16,904.29
Not much down yet so far, but expecting a nice sum in June which will see the debts go down a bit!
Also applied for raising my OHs DLA from middle rate to higher rate as he's got really bad, so fingers crossed we get it - that would make the world of difference!
May not feel like much but every payment is a good payment anda boost for the rest of us to see :T. Good luck with OH's DLA, im currently waiting for a decision to go from low rate to mid rate (darned 11 week wait) still got 5 weeks to goSuperheavy wrote: »Decided to take the savings I'd got and use them to make a partial payment on the car loan. The interest it makes sitting in an ISA is much less than I'm paying on the loan, so it makes more sense, and each loan payment will deal with more of the capital now too.

Sounds like a good decision and at least when you finish the loan early you can work on putting the money back again
Loving your bag Kerri, first thing I thought was 'I want to make one!' but not sure how I could 'man' up the design for DS who is very much a preteen now and I would have to be soooo careful with what was on the fabric, even a plain one would be viewed suspiciously round here.
Hope OH is having a good day today, not that grotty one that always seems to sneak in after surgery
I am off out to spend as little money as possible today on some food essentials and to post more ebay rubbish that I relisted and sold :j got enough in paypal now to pay the fees :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Well its been a while since I posted on here – been an avid reader and used some great tips – but definitely time for an update! Its also great to see everyone making progress – small or large amounts it all counts!
What’s been happening – Well I have started a new job (transfer within the same company) and have been here 3 weeks nearly! Its strange being the new boy and not really knowing what’s going off – especially after the last position where I new what was going on – suppose I should have after 6.5 years! It was time for a change though and glad it came up now. Only downside – its about a 60 mile round trip (as opposed to 30 before). I can car share with the girlfriend though which is good (although not so great when both grumpy in the morning lol). We have got a system set up and I use what she pays me (only £2.50 a day) to pay off my cards. So I have £2.50 payments on my card statement every day! It all counts!! I have also got a small increase in salary which covers the fuel!
I have also been ebaying like crazy! It’s amazing – you think you have no more – and then I just start being more ruthless! I bought two sofas off ebay to go with the newly (and cheaply) decorated living room! Previous times – would have just bought them – but I raised the funds by selling old sofa and chairs on ebay! Its amazing how the mindset changes!! People laugh when I tell them how much I ebay, but I can honestly say I have only regretted selling one thing, and that’s the decent camera I had! That will be the first purchase to save up for when I am debt free!
So- down to the numbers! I have now paid off
#10 £7581.76 / £15461.76.
Leaves me with a total of £7880.00
Roll on pay day at end of this month – which is bonus quarter too!!
Thanks for all the inspiration so far!!

Thank you very much! I have never really gone into the likes of match.com or other sites! I think they are brilliant though - you get to know more about someone before a date - and its better than the unknown after you have got somebodys number on a night out! And its a little less scary making the first approach lol!! Hope it goes really well for you!!!! :beer:0 -

Thank you! I just want to keep the momentum going! It's going to be a bit trickier as I have two stag do's in may and a wedding in Ireland in may / June! They are not really in the budget- so the debt payments may be a bit lower for next 2 months!0 -
