So I checked all my bank accounts and found £47.01 in my L*ds account, and £217.97 sat in an online savings account. So I thought "pay debt before saving" and have split it between OD and CC again :)

Although, then I got annoyed that I was so close to £1000 paid that I decided to round it up.

    So new total:
    £1000 / £3540 (28.25%)

:o Sorry I've been AWOL for ages now, but I'm sneaking back in to say that I'm still debtbusting :D

We've just spent a fab 2 and a half weeks in Florida :j- it was touch and go whether we were actually going due to my mums illness, but I called home often and she's not got any worse while we were away so I'm thankful for that. I THINK I kept our holiday spends under control - I did a really detailed budget for our expenditure, and we actually skipped some meals/activities so I'm really hoping that the money I put aside will cover the CC. I did do a bit of xmas and clothes shopping (unbudgeted) so that will need paying in November but I'm hoping its not too bad ;) I will go through all the receipts tonight & report back :o.

I have paid £425 to Mr Branston today (DH's card) leaving £750 to pay before Dec when the 0% deal runs out. That should be doable.

I've also paid an extra £200 off the mortgage as DH and I talked a lot while we were away about retiring early. We both have stressful but well paid jobs that neither of us want to be doing then we are 60.

    My totals are

    #306 £14642.52/16779.81 87.26%

I'm gonna try for 90% in November :D

Im soooo tempted to pay DH's CC off now, rather than wait for the bill as there is £600 in the bank account but am thinking 'what if I need it for something and that then pushs me into the OD so I cant declare that finished' :o still it would be reeeeeeeeeally nice to have no CC's at all :D

Jake's Mum I've done that exact thing this month. Declared loads off the CC having accounted for everything I thought. Turns out I was a bit hasty as I need some dental work and just found out I need glasses too. Probably going to need to dip into the OD (CC 0% OD 20%) Silly of me not to build in a contingency, oh well lesson learned! Sure this will be less of a worry when we're over the last hurdle and so nearly there!!

    :jI've paid off my loan!!!:j

Other than DH's overdraft, we are now clear of all interest-bearing debt and have 8 months of interest-free period to clear what we hope to pay off in 3-4 months :D

    So proud :A

    New totals are:

    #077 £6,147.74/£16,660.26 36.90% paid

Confession time though, I've just bought two dresses online for the work Christmas party :o Will send at least one back though and then pay it off the 0% card ;)

I have sorted out my missed payment fiasco and I've added in my other debt which I was hiding from. This means my total paid off has gone done but at least I know where I am!

I have had a spendy morning!!

I have bought myself a DRESS and not even from a charity shop!! I did use quidco and a 15% off code though :money:

I have various Xmas things, a christening and my birthday coming up so it's a little treat. I feel so excited! The only problem is I was a bit ambitious and ordered my size-on-a-slim-day so am living on rice and veg for the next week :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: (but this is also a :money: diet so the dress is saving me money, right?)

Then I went to soft play cafe with DS and bought some drinks and some bits for xmas stockings. I love shopping but hate it on credit now!!
