Oh yay glad I'm not the only spreadsheet starer :j:j:j
Perhaps I can start a challenge: "staring at spreadsheets, mind over matter to get debt free" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
(In all seriousness, I believe it is in fact a battle of mind and matter becoming DF and staring at spreadsheets has helped me more than anything- except this thread- this year!)
:TDMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
im here but i keep buying xmas presents so im seriously worried about debt busting this side of christmas x0

Just a quick update, I'm not going to be debt free by christmas but I'm still in a better position that I was last year, so I'm very happy even though I have a wee bit to go yet.
another £300 paid off my total which brings me to
# 272 £2400/£4000
Well over the halfway mark now. Congratulations to all you have hit your traget.:j0 -
Hi everybody,
# 65 Reporting another payment to santander has been made, new totals are: 5246.56 / 11616.56 = 45.16%
I thought this payment was going to be my last one to santander but as it doesn't say on the bank statement that it's the last one I'm assuming another payment is going to come out next month, so depending on what happens next month I'm going to have to change my starting debt total.
No Mexican wave for me yet0 -
It is! No posts at all yesterday! I was at work all day and then straight out after (to a friends house :money:) so not much to report. I have just spent a very happy 2 hours going through all the bank accounts, credit cards etc. and essentially staring at my spreadsheet willing it to change (I do this a lot. I think it is a bit like meditating:rotfl:). We still owe just over £47k, by Xmas I hope we will be under £40k owing :T
lol, I do this too and it doesn't change for me either£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

Blooming NW! :mad: How can it be that their system isn't showing my monthly payment as having gone through when I can see it on internet banking...!? Offered me a settlement figure more than £300 more than the balance I know is there (about £35). That's one hell of an early settlement charge :mad:
Yet again, I will have to waste my time calling another day to see if they can allow me to pay it off. And hopefully not have the cheek to then try and sell me some premium bank account instead :mad::mad::mad::jDebt Free By Xmas 2013 #010 £16,660.26/£16,660.26 100% paid, DFD 25/06/13!:j0 -
Hello all!
Oh dear, the finances are not looking good this month, spent far too much in London
Convinced Hubby to do some fleabaying - 2 lots of stamps worth £18 each from when I used to do Royal Mail delivery surveys (they paid monthly in stamps but I rarely use them) One lot is already at £15! Also fleabaying a SAD blue lamp I trialled for Bzz (paid £39 for it I think) a similar one sold for £155 yesterday!0 -
