I'm being a geeky bunny today...

Just worked out that, to meet my target DFD of 25th February 2013, I need to pay an average of £89.52 a day until then.

What's even more scary is that that's actually achievable (if DH and I stick to our proper budgets, including Christmas... ;))

In fact, If I could just find another £400 between now and 25th January, that could be our DFD!! That would mean £116.47 a day. Crazy money.

I've discovered that there is a Saturday job available at my local sugarcraft/baking shop so I'm going to apply to that. Doubt I'll make £400 before end of Jan, but it all helps

    x

Inspired by you... I have worked out that a DFD of end of June 2014 gives us 606 days which means we have to pay off £78 a day! (not including interest and fees either :eek:)

Hi guys thanks for your good wishes. Basically I have a 10 inch by 10 inch  ovarian cyst (hopefully) they won't be able to say whether it's nasty until it's removed which might be 3-4 weeks!
Still not had the blood results back, apparently ca125 can take 14 days.
I'm going to declare my dd payment which went out today and then shuffle off into a quiet corner - not feeling well.

    No.069 £7508 / £7719 = 97.26%

Lemonpop I've got everything crossed that it is ok. Really surprised they think it would take 14 days...my lab does it daily so even if it was sent by post from a smaller hospital a result would only take a week max. You could try phoning the lab to see if the result is out, they won't tell you the numbers but would let you know if the result is ready for your doctor to phone in for it xx And well done on your total!! :T:T

It is! No posts at all yesterday! I was at work all day and then straight out after (to a friends house :money:) so not much to report. I have just spent a very happy 2 hours going through all the bank accounts, credit cards etc. and essentially staring at my spreadsheet willing it to change (I do this a lot. I think it is a bit like meditating:rotfl:). We still owe just over £47k, by Xmas I hope we will be under £40k owing :T

Today we need to do a bit of shopping and do some DIY. Happy Sunday everyone!

    :)

Glad I'm not the only one who stares at spreadsheets!

The reason I've been quiet is that I'm not doing that well - had to buy some new appliances to replace broken ones so I've been set back a bit! Hoping for Jan 2013 still though :)

I've also calculated that I've had 63 salary packets since I started work in my proper job (and I've been in debt for every single one). I only have 3 more til I'm debt-free hopefully. Saying that makes it seem really close! Can't wait until Feb 2013 when I will get paid for the first time and I will have money that will belong to me at the end of the month!
