OMG!:eek::eek: Only 100 days until xmas!!!:eek::eek: That's crazy! Must start to get organised!
On a more positive note, hubby went to the car boot this morning and made £66. Not sure what we're going to use the money for yet, but he had said he'd like to do another one next week if the weather is ok. And we managed to sell his leather jacket on ebay, but only made about £5 on it after fees.
Can't wait til next sat as we get tax credits and I can make an overpayment to my cc
Would just like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Jemma for keeping us all going!£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

****pity party alert****
As some of you may know, I've been trying to up my exercise and have been plagued with problems. My blood tests came back satisfactory so I put it down to dehydration and started upping my water intake before, during and after the gym plus taking electrolyte drinks. Anyway, last night I went back to the gym for the first time in over a week and it felt good to be back. I felt strong but took it easy and my heart rate was only 127bmp which is about 55-60% capacity. I did 8k on the bike slowly then 2k on the rowing machine. I was really chuffed with myself and thought I had turned a corner! We then went back on the bikes for another 8k but partway through I looked over at some people doing floor work with a medicine ball. I looked back at the screen on my bike and went completely dizzy. This wasn't just light headed, this was whole world spinning ant it wasn't stopping. I thought I was going to have to sit on the floor in the gym but luckily I made it to the changing rooms with my friend and it took ages before I could lift my head up. I drove home about 20mins later which I felt it was safe, feeling incredibly hacked off!!!!! I had a bit of a runny nose and sinus pain on Mon and Tues so took Sudafed tablets and it seemed to have gone. I'm wondering if it's still lingering a bit??? I'm just so sick of not being able to train...
Isn't annoying when you've got the drive to do something but you can't cos something you can't control is stopping you?! I guess this is like your experiences with the OH when they haven't had their LBM and seem to be sabotaging all your good work.
On a more positive note, I'm going on holiday to the Lakes on Saturday and I can't wait. I've been counting down the days till I get a break from work as it's been non stop for too long....!
What are you all doing today??? xxx
Do you know I've been having exactly the same problem? I have been very tired, I suffer with low BP anyway but have always felt well and kept active but lately couldn't face running and kept breaking out into a wierd hot/itchy sensation and going lightheaded during or after a run. I am going for tests too after a few weeks off my vitamins, in the mean time am healthing up and ditching alcohol  to see if it improves my health. Added bonus is I save money :money: Ask your doctor to test for B12 if you see them again, I suspect I have a deficiency.Helloooooooooooooooooo

Ah Jemma - how frustrating it is when you have the willpower to do something and you can't . I absolutely hate being ill cos it's so annoying not to be able to carry on as normal. Hope you're feeling better soon *hugs*.Do you know I've been having exactly the same problem? How weird. My DH has been having lightheadness and tiredness the last couple of weeks. I reckoned that he might be B12 and folic acid deficient because of his health problems and yesterday got him to take supplements for folic acid and B12 (so I think I'm a doctor now!). Amazingly after 2 weeks of feeling like this, within 6 hours of taking supplements, the lightheadness had gone
.

So...inspired by afordmylife...what are we all doing for MSE xmas presents? :money: Our budget for each other and both kids is £200. That's all stockings etc. too. We have 15 other presents to buy just with parents, siblings and grandparents and I'd like to keep that to a minimum, I was thinking of hitting the £ shop and making stuff to do hampers but some inspiration would be good...especially for mens bits!!
