Mrs Addicted - I can understand your frustration but I guess when things like job changes happen, you just have to readjust and keep going. Life does throw changes at us. However, you have a very justifiable reason to not make it. If I don't make it, it will be purely down to not working at it hard enough, which is why I think I will be a bit disappointed in myself. However, I keep thinking, if I'm sat around on Christmas day knowing I've got £500 in debts, it's a long way better than last Christmas when I was sitting on over £10k. I think I need perspective.
I just feel bad because there are so many on here who have worked so phenomenally hard to get rid of their debts, and I could have done so much more.
You mustn't feel bad. Just to echo what everyone else is saying - just tackling your debts is brilliant and if you really only have £500 left this Christmas after starting the year with a £10K debt then that's amazing. You should be proud of yourself.

A little bit of good news about DS1 GCSE Biology exam result. The school had his coursework remarked and in addition to the 6 marks they 'forgot' to award he also got an additional 10 taking his coursework from a D to a B, and his final GCSE to a solid A :j Soooo chuffed for him, also chuffed that we didn't have to pay the £150 for a coursework remark :money:Pay debt in 2012 #278 £2347/£5364

Quick update from me today
5535.97 / 8327.54 #238 mrsyallop0 -
Is it wrong that I am so completely and utterly psyched about tomorrow. I'll be getting up extra early, seeing those wages in my account, and making that last payment over on to my credit card. Then I'll have hit my target for the year.
I will be floating through my day at work tomorrow. It's like Christmas. Except without the wrapping paper and gorging on food and drink.DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!
