    Thanks rubywhatashmoo and SeriousDFW because I've just been up early, and the money has left my bank account for what I hope will be the last time. I've been sitting on 98% for most of the month, so I am chuffed to say:

    #123 - 10762 / 10762 - 100%

    Okay, so now that the payment is out of the way, I've also squirrelled away my first £150 for next year, which has a stag do in Dublin, wedding in Mexico, then another wedding in September. I could also do with a house deposit too. No slacking is the message now!

    Congratulations :j:j:j:beer::beer::T:T:T
    Goals for February
    Declutter 2/50
    Money Made £0/£200
    Overpayments £0/£200
  • Hope you are all well!
    Well I was starting to think that clearing my debts by Xmas was looking like only a dream, but I have had a bit of good news this week which is making this debt busting a little more possible.
    I have recently remortgaged as my fixed rate deal was due to come to an end and was able to get 2.99% fixed for 5 yrs with HSBC. Well it completed last week, and I found out that I don't have to pay a mortgage payment for October, giving me £780 to pay another chunk off my overdraft. But when checking my balance last night I noticed that my last mortgage company have refunded septembers payment as the redemption figure didn't take the payment into consideration. I know that I've still got to make the payments one day, my my little two-month mortgage break couldnt have come at a better time!
    I'm paid on Monday so I'll sort out my figures then, but that is still £1560 to pay off my overdraft. So excited!x

    Fantastic news! I love it when you get the 2 months off council tax after xmas. I know I could reduce my payments and pay every month but I don't want to- it's a lovely treat every year! :rotfl:

    #084 £12,410 / £58000 21.4%

    :j

    Also had some good news about freelance work from DH which should help pay for xmas and pay off a big chunk of OD :beer:

    I thought about it, but was concerned you'd see the cluttered house behind the cluttered mind and start bossing me into selling everything! :eek:

    It's not that I'm a hoarder, I just don't have time to deal with it. When I'm not working or freelancing, I've got to find time for beer-drinking, video game playing and reading Stephen King novels.

    Too right - you've got to find time for FUN :D!!
