Congratulations Lemonpopsicle's son
you must be such a proud Mummy right now. I've been trying to remember what grades I got, but it was so long ago I can't remember anything but D in music and an A in I.T. I definitely didn't get any A*'s though.
Not really much to report this morning, other than I've got a few things listed on fleabay to earn me some extra dosh. We have seven, I repeat seven boxes of fleabay stuff to list!!!! They're currently sat in the spare bedroom wardrobe taking up faaaar too much room, and one is in the bedroom as the "working" box, which I'm starting to go through eep!Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Am I allowed to be a proud mummy? My DS1 got his Gcse results today and he got 3 A*, 4 As, 1 B, 1C and 98 points in his ICT (apparently = to an A and a. He was very disappointed with the B which was in Biology because he got 98% in the actual exam but only a D in the coursework. His other Science coursework's were 100% and 95%. I think he is going to ask for a remark of the coursework (which costs £150 ). When I discussed it with his best mate who got 8A*
the first thing he said was that the teacher didn't like DS and she was the one marking the coursework  We probably wouldn't bother but DS wants to be a doctor and Biology is pretty important
Anyway payday tomorrow so new figs to declare,

Thank you for listening xx
Oh and Jemma playpal have paid out, although I've got a non payer which I'm trying to sort at the mo.
Of course you can be a proud mummy Lemonpopsicle, well done to your DS they are fantastic results.:j:T:j:T I would def look into re-mark.
Was watching the news last night and listening to them talk about the marking scheme, it is very wrong to change it half way through, if they are going to change it then it should be for the new pupils who are going into Y10 like my DD. What about the kids that have done 1 yr of GCSE work that are moving into Yr 11. So unfair on the all the kids, feel so sorry for them as they all work very hard.
I hope you all had a great night celebrating. Well done again to your DS.;):T:T:T:T:T:T:T[SIZE=2]SPC4 #1395 Aug 11 £135.75/£150

Hi everyone,
Not had a chance to post in the last week, but I have been keeping up to date on my phone!
Well done to all who have made payments& welcome back to Kerri – I’m so glad you’re OK and getting settled in Cardiff.
Spag bol – sorry you’re feeling a bit low about everything. £12K is a massive achievement to pay off so far.If you put that into perspective, it would have already paid off many members’ debts on here, so in fact you have paid off more than most already & you’re chipping away at that debt all the time.
I finally picked up my car yesterday after a rubbish week. I broke down last Friday & the garage said that they absolutely didn’t have any courtesy cars.So I paid £115 to hire a car so that I could get to work on Friday & this week. I put a tenner of fuel in it on Monday morning only to get a phone call to say that the garage did have a car for me after all. So I took the hire car back & got a refund on the unused days, but lost out on the fuel as I’d only driven about 20 miles in it! I chased the garage on Friday, Monday & Tuesday & each time was told that they had been too busy to even look at my car so I assumed that I’d have their car til Friday at least. So ( you guessed it) I put a tenners worth of fuel in it on Tuesday night only to get a call on Wednesday morning to say it was fixed! So, I’ve spent £90 on a hire car, £615 :eek:on repairs & probably £15 on fuel I didn’t need. Grrrrrr. Anyway I am absolutely not adding this to my debt on this challenge. I put it on my 0% spending card & will find a way to pay it back over the next few months. I have 18 months interest free but I really don’t want to get into the “oh I’ll pay for that later” mindset that got me into all this trouble in the first place.
So, its payday so I’ve paid another £500 off my cards

I’d like to jump and dance for getting over 70% but I feel a bit of a fraud now.:(

I am now at the halfway mark-yay! It's not too late for you to pop over and get a bit of Canadian experience and deliver one VIP baby!
Actually I am still sticking to my guns and requesting a Section this time.
Hi Canucks fan! I would love a break in Canada to look after you and and your little VIP baby but unfortunately I'm not trained to perform c/sections!
I have worked permanent nights for six years and it works really well for us. Although we are like ships that pass in the night it means that we do not have any childcare costs and it's nice that the kids stay with us all the time.
Although my daughter is starting school I'm going to continue with nights for as long as I can get away with it. It just going to be a little easier to get a bit of sleep afterwards. Its quite exhausting to be up all day and night and then all day again!
Do you mind me asking what you do? I remember working 12 hr nights whilst pregnant and having a toddler at home- exhausting! Perhaps that's why I stopped at 2! I don't know how you do it and managed to clear all your debts! A true accomplishment! Sorry to hear about your husbands job, hope he manages to get something sorted soon.xxLBM 14th Oct 2011 TOTAL DEBT £8500  £8500/£8500 (100%) paid)
