OMG my turn to be mad now... a while ago I won a photoshoot through fb and finally arranged a date with the photographer. I've just realised it's this Sunday and I'm working (I emailed her with dates I wasn't working and agreed the date she replied with not realising it was a different date altogether) so I've emailed her to let her know and she is blaming me saying this is the third time she has booked me in. This is the first date we have set, and it's her fault she didn't read my dates properly! Grr.Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

So, my OH has been saying he's worried about my job because I seem more focused on sewing than 'puters....I've just shut him up though
had a call from my manager to say "you don't get a bonus in your first year, but because you've been working exceptionally I want to give you a bonus anyway!" so I'm getting £450+ less tax (of course) how amazing is that! That's going to reduce the OD straight away, have already told the OH so

Not sure what to do - what would you guys do in my circumstances as where money is concerned, I'm not sensible - to say the least?!
Very grateful for any help.
Not sure what I would do tbh, A large proportion of our troubles has been getting too many 0% cards. If both are 0% until the end of the year could you try to pay one off and hope a deal to transfer comes up to pay off the other? Sorry I'm hopeless!
Am I over reacting here?
No! I'd be furious with my DSs if they did that and very unimpressed if anyone else's did it!!Hey all. Nothing to report from me. Pay day was last Wednesday and I'm already waiting for the next one.
It's been bit manic so haven't had time to do fleabay so haven't made any extra money. BFs birthday present has been bought.
We're off on holidays next week. Cycling around Welsh coast and camping!
My payday is tomorrow and I'm already dreaming of next months :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Have a great holiday sounds wonderful
Thanks mumof3plusoh for the kind words! Everyone is so nice on hereI am still feeling a bit down today but channeling that feeling for future resolve!!

Aw I'm really sorry that people were worried about me
now I feel bad. Sorry everyone!
Mrs A, have you worked out what the interest would be if you paid it off as part of the mortgage vs if you did the switch-a-roo thing? Would you end up paying even more money back if you did it the mortgage way?
If you haven't increased your credit for 6 months and you've been a good payer, then I think that works in favour regarding credit rating. But I'm unsure to be honest. I'm only allowed to increase my OD and I'm not allowed anymore credit cards, which is confusing as one you pay off each month the other you don't!
Update from me: I've got the fleabay bug and am busy editing photos ready to list tonightalthough have to make a small spend today of a desk and chair, I've found quite a cheapy one in that swedish shop that will suit my needs for both sewing and work, and a half decent chair too.
Ooh and I told the OH yesterday "no we don't need to go out for cheese, I'll just use mozzarella instead!" so we didn't do a mini-shop and buy things we didn't need wahey!
Thanks Kerri that's helped on the credit score thing. I'm not sure how to work out the cost of the mortgage interest rate monthly (maths was never my strong point!).
Well done on your bonus - that's brilliant :j:j!Morning All
Welcome back Kerri
Mrs A - I personally would take another 0% CC as ive done the 'chuck it on the mortgage' thing and am now paying £800 a month and still had nearly £9k in debt build up afterwardsI've realised its just one of those push it to one side and forget about it, quick fixes
Ok I have a mini rant and I want your opinion as to whether im over reacting to it or if I can be justifiably miffed
We have been doing our garden the last week and across the road came over and kind of started to 'muck in', his wife came over about an hour later with their child (same as as my DD) and kind of hung around for a while. Got to lunchtime and I gave DD hers as she has nursery after, took her to nursery, came back and they are still here, so make DH, DS and I our lunch and try best to not be rude while making it clear im not feeding them as they weren't actually invited over.
Anyway their Child starts tapping me 'im hungry', so I say 'go tell mummy and she'll take you home for lunch' he points to the sweets that are on the side and I say 'no, they are for DD to take to nursery next week for her friends' and re-iterate he needs to go and get his mum to take him home. He finally trots off and I hear him tell his mum hes hungry and then he wanders back and starts perstering me for food again. Im getting a bit miffed by now (we all know what im like) so I take him out and say 'he's telling me he wants his lunch, ive said he needs to tell you not me lol' and start doing a bit more gardening. mum says 'we'll take you home in a min for lunch', 20 minutes later . . I ask 'wheres *child*' mum goes in house, 'oh hes upstairs with DS. Im a bit surprised by this as I told DS to go out but think ok, another 20 odd minutes go past and I say 'he hasnt come back' and decide to go upstairs to remind DS hes supposed to be going out not playing computer. Walk in DS's room, hes not there but their child is sat behind his bed with DD's class sweets eating them
Now im furious as A) I paid for them and said very clearly he couldnt have them, they knew he was hungry and didnt take him home for any dinner so he helped himself to our food (by the time we found him it was past 2pm!) and C) they didnt apologise for what he'd done or offer to replace them (I woul have said dont bother tbh but its how I would have handled it if it was DD, though she wouldnt have done it in the first place!) their child is the same age as DD so its not even as if its a younger child who hasnt quite grasped right from wrong.
Am I over reacting here?
Thanks Jake's Mum :T.
I don't think you are over reacting to the annoying child and parents situation. The parents are really to blame though - they should have taken hungry child home and fed it so that it didn't feel the need to steal sweets. Sometimes people do not take the hint at all and it's so annoying - I'm like you - if people mention making lunch, I'm straight out of there like a shot (unless we've previously been invited of course :rotfl:).Not sure what I would do tbh, A large proportion of our troubles has been getting too many 0% cards. If both are 0% until the end of the year could you try to pay one off and hope a deal to transfer comes up to pay off the other? Sorry I'm hopeless!
Thanks Spag Bol. I can't afford to pay either one off by Xmas unfortunately  but I'll definitely look and see what deals they have.
I'm so useless with money that I just don't know what will be best - whichever way I do things, we just seem to end up in an endless cycle of debt. I'm just wanna be free of it

Ahh im glad its not just me being hypersensitive, I honestly cant tell at times if im too 'tetchy', being quite an antisocial so and so IRL I wonder if I just have a warped idea of what is now socially acceptable
still cant bring myself to come out and say 'will you leave please, we want to have some food'
Grr Psycho, thats so rubbish and a bit out of order on the side of the owner as though it was a win, I assume the whole point of the competition was to drum up more business and she wont get repeat business or recommedations speaking to you like that!
Kerri, a little smile came to my lips as I read thatI love feeding DH humble pie and its just as much fun to watch someone else do it to theirs :rotfl:
