OMG!!! someone catch me *faints* £107 spent today on 3 pairs of shoes!!! Cl*rks obviously stands for 'come look at rediculously (priced) kids shoes' Jakes shoes alone were £40 and lily needed school shoes and trainers at £34 and £32   I only took £80 with me, my poor old mum had to come to the rescue for the rest :o

I know - I think they are very cheeky as well, as most of the shoes arent priced, so you dont know how much they are until theyve set their heart on them. My husband tries to make me get them in Deichmann, and I do get trainers in there for her, but she's still very little and has to walk to school, so I hang out for Clarks. Sometimes I get them on ebay.

£60 on school wear yesterday and £71 for ballet lessons until half term. Car booting tomorrow - everyone pray for the rain to hold off until 11am!

Just checked DH's NWest points for his CC (he uses it for his train ticket and expenses each month then clears it...sadly it's up to £800 this month :mad::mad:) and due to big spends ( again) he has accumulated enough points for £20 Mr S's vouchers. So I'm a bit happier about the £800 we have to pay off in two weeks . We are having a clearout today and I'll put some bits on ebay (hopefully) and get a load ready for a car booty in a couple of weeks.

Tomorrow we are off to a fair in our village, should be a lovely day :) Have a lovely BH everyone!

I went shopping yesterday and spent best part of £100! On myself! Got carried away in Debs sale. Before that I had only purchased 1 pair of trousers and 3 tops all year. I have now got 2 pairs of trousers (needed cos I have put on so much weight I am struggling to look decent when I go back to school next week), 1 top, 1 pair slippers (not had any for about 6 months), some underwear and a nightie (pyjamas developed holes through constant wear lol).
So you can see my justification thought processes. Usually my strategies of a) never going to shops or b) mantra of "there will always be lovely things in the shops to buy so you can wait until you have money" keep me safe from spendiness. Sigh.
Still I am enjoying my purchases - as long as I don't go back in a shop until December I think I can live with my lapse :rotfl:
Thanks to you all for holding me back all the other times :T

This is me - I can't allow myself near any shops apart from supermarkets without getting tempted . Which is not really very practical as sometimes we do actually need things :rotfl:.

Oh, thought we might pop in clarks yesterday as dd1 is starting nursery next month and has to wear uniform including black shoes :(, anyway it was sooo busy we didn't even bother going in and as she's not starting til the end of september we're not in any hurry.

recurrent-ostrich how can you find out where the nearest outlet is - I've had a look on their website but can see anything :(
