Thanks choclover and SpagBol - I guess you always want a few more % shaved off the debt!
Mustn't be greedy and must make sure to highlight the positives too.
Is it me or has there been a glut of people announcing their Debt-Free Days on the main DFW board? I am extremely pleased for them but I think that has made me impatient!DFBX2013: 021 :j seriousDFW £0 [STRIKE] £3,374[/STRIKE] 100% Paid off

Had a bit of a rubbish day yesterday but luckily ended on a positive. i'd decided that i "deserved" a nice indian takeaway but i stopped to think about it. why is something that will sabotage my weightloss and my debtloss journeys a treat???? I'll only feel fatter and more guilty spending £10 on a fatty curry so why do i want it??? So i went to the Co op and bought a 290 calorie wrap instead for £2.60! I really need to get the right mindset if i'm going to get down to my goal weight by dec as well as my debtloss goal.
today i'm going helping my friend paint as she's just bought her first house and got the keys yesterday and is redecorating. could be fun!
Xxx
WOW - what an amazing perspective and I am really very impressed. An Indian takeaway as a reward/treat/consolation for a bad day is my absolute downfall both weight-loss wise and money-wise!
That is really inspiring, thank you!DFBX2013: 021 :j seriousDFW £0 [STRIKE] £3,374[/STRIKE] 100% Paid off

Thanks, but it looks alot better than it should, as my total debt is around £17K, so really I'm only at around 7.6%
Just worked it out and its 7.1%:(:(:(:(:(
Oh no huge sorry was trying to make you feel better and now I've made you feel worseI know how disheartening it feels, but honestly 7% is still 7% less debt which is fantastic :T Isn't it odd how we can see the fantastic achievement in others but just feel down about our own percentages!!

I would love some more % shaved off, it is an obsession!! You are so right and I will try to think positive. Like I said above I can see how hard others have worked and the achievement but never happy with my lot. I'm never satisfied but I guess that's a good thing for this challengeI haven't been on the DFW board for ages, they seemed to be getting terribly aggressive at times and I stopped going

Hiya, I've decided to revise my totals in light of some forgotten about/new debts and also because I've really cut back on everything for the past year and feel I need to see a light of some kind by Christmas and I will concentrate on the debts I view as less urgent starting in Jan 2013! Or add them to my existing leftovers from this year. I hope this is all right - I'm just lacking motivation and I know I've made a huge dent in my debts, but feel I need to SEE a difference! Hope this is not too much hassle for the person doing the totals?!0 -

Obviously that £10K isn't our total debt, and feeling brave enough today to post full percentage paid. So...since we started this challenge we have paid 14.1% of our total debt. :jLong haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0 -
