Same here R-O, I was quite complacent about it a few years ago but it doubled in the last 3 years!!:eek: Don't know why I didn't start this sooner but there we go. Well done on your totals by the way
Well done to you to Munchin, not far to go :T
Moral dilemma today. Some of the other families from school are going to the cinema today, I had said yes as I still like the kids to have a little treat but now they have said they don't want to go. I think I'll take them at their word and save the money and go for a walk in the park instead...which incidentally they don't want to do either :rotfl::rotfl:...but does that make me mean? I also need to get DS's hair cut but there are some clippers in the cupboardHe looks pretty severe with a "mummy cut" but he doesn't care yet :rotfl::rotfl:

Payday on Friday!!!! I cannot wait!!! I should hopefully be able to pay off one of my credit cards and close it.
Small confession though... I needed a break so I've booked a cottage in the lakes for a week in the last week of September. It's cost about £200 and is 100yrds from Lake Windermere and the town of Bowness on Windermere. I'm excited cos I need to a break from my family and I think they also could do with a break from me. I'm taking my grandma as it's a 3 bed cottage and she'll really enjoy it. I'm looking at this as being free as I'd budgeted my car insurance for over £600 and it came in at just under £400! It will also push my boundaries as it's about 1.5hrs away...
I've been reading all your posts and they really make me smile. (especially NCTmums new avatar... mmmmmmmmmmmm he's yummy!) You're all doing so well paying these debts off, I think we're going have a great August total-wise so let's keep squeezing those debts for the next 2 days!

Who or what is an Avatar and how do I drool over it? <dunce alert> :rotfl::rotfl:
Enjoy your break, you deserve a holidayJust seeing the beautiful scenery will lift your spirits and help you with your challenge I would think
So I have cancelled our cinema trip and cut DS's hair. Poor kid, with a double crown he really needs a proper cut but that's what we're in this challenge for...even a haircut is a luxury atm and I can't wait to be paying for this sort of stuff out of an account IN CREDIT :jDMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
And to cheer myself up I have put half of the saving from no cinema or haircut on the CC because it is payday 2 and want to make a payment, even of just £16:

If you go to Quick Links and then Edit Options then the 3rd box down should have 3 tick boxes with the 2nd one that sayd Show Avatars. Just tick this and then you'll see what we all look like (not that Pyschopathbabble is an orange, nor Jakes-mum is a bunch of paper flowers, nor is His Missus actually an evil looking cat...I think!) :rotfl:New Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T
