Evnin all,
Excellent work on all the payments being made, especially to ashleighsalem on getting rid of the last chunk of debt.
Come August the first I am confident that I'll have enough to pay off my personal loan, leaving me with a credit card that is on 0% to finish, and then it is easy (-ier) street for me. I'll probably still be looking for all the BOGOF and big savings I can, but it'll be nice not to have all those Dr next to my balances when I'm on my internet banking.
All the best guys.DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

It's great that so many of you are now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, and the end of this bumpy journey is in sight, maybe it's because we've just gone past the half way mark, whatever the reason it's FANTASTIC :dance:0

***RANT ALERT***
Can't believe it! After our much agreed conversation about not going on holiday abroad next year as we'd much rather use that money to pay off some debts, hubby had secretly ordered an ipad (which got delivered yesterday!)!
I asked how much it cost - £499 - I said for that money I'd rather have flights to portugal. Cheeky whatsit said it's not my concern as it's his money. Told me he pays the bill and as I don't contribute financially to it he could do whatever he wanted! Then he said I don't do anything in the house either!
Cannot believe how insensitive he is, he treats this place like a hotel - leaving me to tidy up after him all the time and expects his dinner on the table when he comes home!!!
Luckily it's not model he wanted, so it's going back. But it's opened up a whole can of worms. Tried to have a 'grown up' conversation about it last night and he was just cracking jokes all the time. Sometimes I feel like I want to get a heavy frying pan and wack him on the head with it!!!

Bolded - This is the moment Jakes-mum would have completely lost it and let him have it with both barrels . How increadibly rude! He doesnt 'keep' you  Time for a looooooooooooong list of exactly what you do with the current rate of pay for said job and hand it to him with an invoice for services rendered (did this with DH once when he alluded to this point, and I was very fair, only charged him half rateshe never ever said anything like that again). If he earns and owns all the money then he can pay his cleaner/chef/child minder/personal shopper the going rate
