I wish it could be more but such is life and because these are 0% interest cards at least it does come off the actual amount owed. I'll get there eventually.Pay debt in 2012 #278 £2347/£5364

Hi all!
Have thankfully been paid and have some overtime booked for this month as well but must admit I'm finding it hard to hit the debt busting with as much gusto now! It was a lot easier to pay a chunk off a credit card each month, but my last debt is my overdraft so it is much harder to not to keep tapping into it. Any ideas how I can make this any easier?!
Must admit that we did treat ourselves to a decent tv for our bedroom. After being a one tv household for a year now the thought of a summer of constant football, rugby, cricket and Olympics as well as kids tv tipped me over the edge and I finally relented!! Still I haven't treated myself for ages and have worked really hard over the last few months.
I'm going to keep my spending to a minimum this month and will update a total before I get paid again in July. It would be great if I could get my OD down to £3500. Here goes!!
Good luck with your debt busting this month.xxLBM 14th Oct 2011 TOTAL DEBT £8500  £8500/£8500 (100%) paid)

Pay off all my debts my xmas 2012 challenge #13:j0 -
Hi Tinks, welcome and good luck!
FP, my next target is t get rd of my O/D! I HATE being overdrawn. I have been for years and years and it stresses me out! CAN'T WAIT to get rid... good luck with yours, hope you can feel motivated to clear it too.
At least now I have paid off my ex I can concentrate on sorting my own finances out. I am still paying for her ring too, so I guess I should find out how much is left on that and add it to my list. It's 0% so I guess it'll be the last thing, but it still counts as debt doesn't it?
It has been good to think about targets for when I am debt-free. Here are mine:
My list of 10 things to do when I am debt free:
1. Get my own place again - hopefully a little house with a garden and somewhere for my bikes-rented to begin with
2. Start overpaying the mortgage on my flat (rented out ATM) to eventually get it out of negative equity (or am I not debt free til I have done this?)
3. Save to actually go on holiday -so many places I want to see - California for exampleand some skiing
4. Get a decent computer (MAC mmmmm!)
5. Get an amazing road bike - but not until I have lost some weight
6. Get a really smart suit for special occasions
7. Save up a buffer amount - 3 times my salary - in case of emergencies
8. No more gnawing anxiety about not having any money/running out at the end of the month
9. Buy healthy organic food
10. Have a fund for cards, gifts and pressies for friends, family and colleagues so it becomes planned as part of life and not an "extra" I am somehow unprepared for!!Debt paid off: £19,999 Debt remaining: NONE!!:money::eek::):j:j:j:j:j:j0
